If we name Quinn or X after all this time, this board is going to explode.
Looking for some good construction professionals in far SWVA and NETN. Office positions open for Project Manager and Senior Estimator and also have field positions for Superintendent and virtually all skilled trade positions. Work is typically commercial and light industrial with some multifamily sprinkled in. We wear a lot of hats operating as a GC, CMaR, DB, etc. Let me know if anyone is interested and I can send some additional info.
yo, we're so close! Just a few more comments to achieve GGCdzilla77's dream!!
And it has left us wondering... did they finish the clean-up of the inherited chemistry fu'nk❓
As it kinda feels like something has... lingered... something has not yet been clinically rinsed... out.
there is no way to know this in January
That's Pry's entire staff you're describing

What if the new DC is really just the friends we've made along the way?
Here have a cookie...

Oops, sorry about that. Crushed like your (and my) hopes and dreams for a new DC today...
I think I know it. We're hiring either Bill Belichik so his son gets the head coach position faster or Nick Saban.
I think it was caused by the giant shoulder pads.
I'll make it out for pool one of these days, but the tailend of 2024 and the start of 2025 have been kicking my ass up and down the block.
So you are saying that we are in a bidding war with Florida for someone, right?
Guess we are hosed on that one too.
Counterpoint; DC is my hometown, great list.
I guess with each day we don't have a DC it's money we save from having to pay someone. Whit being a secret financial genius!
Never change, skippy.
Yeah he's clearly talking about getting in (the mind) of a lab(rador retriever). Can't get that dog in ya without first getting into the dog
Did you know: Florida has had a DC vacancy as long as we have? They don't seem to be hand wringing about it nearly as much
I asked perplexity "as of today, who do we think is likely to be Virginia Tech's defensive coordinator?"
It said:
As of January 23, 2025, Virginia Tech is still in the process of selecting a new defensive coordinator following the departure of Chris Marve. Currently, Shawn Quinn, who served as the interim defensive coordinator, is considered a leading candidate for the position. His experience and recent promotion suggest he may be favored for a permanent role 1 8.
Other potential candidates include:
- Xavier Adibi, who has prior experience as a defensive coordinator at the Division II level and is currently on the Hokies' staff.
- Ryan Walters, the former head coach at Purdue and a highly regarded defensive mind, though hiring him would be ambitious given his recent head coaching role 4 5.
Bud Foster, a legendary figure in Virginia Tech's football history, will not return as defensive coordinator but will serve in an advisory capacity, which could influence the new hire's direction 2 6. Coach Brent Pry has emphasized the importance of having someone with prior defensive coordinator experience, which may narrow down the list of candidates moving forward 1 .
The lack of news is becoming news.

He clearly ran a design of experiments to land on the best method for his scientific trials.
Easily, easily in the top 25 threads, all time TKP. This community sure makes my day!
I would love speculation, flight tracking, and getting big dogged. At least there's hope there. The radio silence is insane. Just give me something. Anything.
The truth is out there!
We need at Virginia Tech Football DC Wheel of Destiny.
My random coach we're hiring today is Sean Spencer.

I'll do my part - happy to contribute to 1K
Also, I have no idea who we're hiring but will convince myself it's the perfect fit by August
