What program at UMD are you talking about? I'm currently a grad student there and they have a couple of programs to help reduce the number of car commuters, but I'm not aware of any automated rideshare offering.

I checked the plane via flightradar24.com, found it to be a Saab 2000 twin engine turboprop, registered to Air Charter Express (ACE), which generally charters freight flights, although they do own some aircraft that can carry passengers. My comment was based on the freight operations of the company, and I applied Occam's razor to the situation....the most obvious fact being the most likely. Just my thought process.
