I think her saying she didn't like Tech or Blacksburg happened after she caught a much of flak from campus folks after her announcement to follow 'he who shall not be named' to that other place. Just opinion.
Got an email today about the spring game, my first thought was "will we have a DC before the spring game?"
The bobble heads were for people that had bought them (I wasn't paying $30 for one). At the game they announced that season ticket holders were entitled to one for free. One per account, not per seat.
Spell check alas, Phillips doesn't even warrant being in the dictionary.
I have to stop looking at certain events thinking a hire will come after them because I only end up more frustrated. No hire right after the season. No hire after the bowl games. No hire after the Penn State loss. I was expecting maybe a hire after the Championship game tonight, but I'm guessing not?!?! I honestly don't know what to think anymore. Maybe a hire will be announced out of the blue just when nobody is expecting it. And might I add that all of the speculation and assumptions of who has been interviewed, or who we wanted and missed out on only makes the frustation worse. The reality is, I think we're all frustrated because no one knows absolutely anything and those few that may actually know aren't saying anything. No matter who the hire ends up being, I actually do commend Pry and those involved in the search with how tight lipped things have been. Frustating as hell, but I commend them. When it's all said and done, just PLEASE make a good hire and win more games next year and I could care less how long it took.
Phillips lost me when he went reactive and lead the effort to add the leftover PAC teams.
Same goes for Sands and company for supporting that move.
Every time I open this thread.

Every conference below 12 teams had tie breakers to see who got the BCS bid. There were co champions but 1 got the bid. I'm saying remove that even and don't care.
Yes agree totally, he is a clown. However, when it comes to clownshows:
John Swofford is like:

I think historically GT and Louisville have voted with them on the issue as a bloc since they also have SEC rivals. But could be interesting if a vote came up again now with more members.
In an admittedly petty way I was glad Georgia's message was part of the audio screwup since she couldn't be bothered to not wear a Kentucky sweatshirt for the recording. I definitely heard a lot of groaning and booing when she appeared wearing that.
But, I can also see it that VT Athletics probably asked Georgia to record something for Liz early Sunday morning as she was heading to their sports complex to get ready for her game that day.
This DC search is starting to be

And the longer it goes, the more I think they're screwing it up, which has me like

Still........
Love my Peloton since Kids got in the way of getting out of the house into a gym. Check out the Bootcamp classes - good mix of HITT on the bike and weights on the floor in one class.
We did not even bother. It wasn't clear what was going on and It was just a mass of people with no clear goal.
Yup. Two of the three seems to be doing their best to call a fair game for both sides. The older bald ref was very much focused on calling 80% of the fouls and out of bounds against Tech.
I like the place.
Yup, I was in that line somewhere. We had a lot of fun discussing if Tech could have thought of a worse way to distribute the bobble heads. The answer was pretty much no. They did it the worst possible way.
You could tell on a couple of the reviews the woman was in charge though. There were a couple clear moments one of the other refs weren't happy with her decision and she started chopping her hand into her other hand while emphasizing to the other ref she didn't care he didn't like it.

True, toxic fans can turn people off pretty quickly.
