Boise wins - They gained an unfair advantage with the bye. Penn State was the more deserving team.
Penn St wins - The better team won and it is obvious they should have had the bye to begin with.

FWIW, On3 rates our average incoming transfers about 13/14th right now. Pretty good for D2 and FCS guys. We aren't winning a Natty any time soon but I believe the portal has raised our overall talent level and production ability since Pry has been here. We need to clean up game day and we need more production from off season training and at certain positions and we could push for ACC contenders. As a fan of VT in the current age this is the goal. This gives us a chance to make it to the dance. Maybe this leads to an overhaul at the top in terms of strategy and implementation which leads to greater success but right now we are doing pretty well with the portal for where we are in the landscape, despite the legitimate gripes you might have about other aspects of the organization/team

I'm not about to go that far. What I will say is that PSU is executing to perfection on offense. Those two TD passes could not have been placed any more perfectly than they were.

I actually like the rule. If the offense substitutes late, the defense should be able to. But they should change it such that they stop the clock while the substitution takes place. You see it where the defense is obviously moving slowly and you get delay of game calls. Has to be a way to allow the defense to match a substitution but not allow the play and game clock to run.
Yeah, if I'm a injured player and I find out my coach is using my being hurt as an excuse to get on the field to taunt the other coach, I'm punching that SOB in the mouth and heading for the portal.
I'd be fine with that as long as any defensive player within 5 yards of the sideline and obviously in the process of exiting the field could not be flagged for illegal participation. Actually, that should be the rule already.
