It's crazy that Clements was historically one of the best freshman OL on VT, but also was so disappointing 2022-2024. Injuries and bad coaching derailed a potentially elite lineman.
Also, 2020 and 2021 were pretty good OL years for VT. With 15 RBs, you would figure that the team would be able to be elite in the running game.
Left guard, wore No. 55 at WVU
Have to watch more tape. What little I have seen, he is a good pass protector but does sometimes let defensive tackles get under his pads. Very good zone blocker, not a finisher (stops at contact when he pulls.) Those are first impressions.
Pitt has an All Name team on DL. Last name is BrewU
Realizing Nardouche and Pitt started 7-0 and finished 7-5 and are in OT with Toledo in their bowl.
He bought our center and somebody else bought his team.

Yeah. This was weird. Timing alone doesn't make sense. Something was happening behind the scenes.
I'd rather be ignorant and not know what I'm getting at the beginning of the year vs everyone bailing on a team and not knowing what I'm getting at the end of the year with a JV squad.
And just like that, Im back in.
These are the kind of portal pick ups we need
Can he play in the bowl game? Asking for some onw that doesn't want the be murdered on live TV.
Rimac had a 77.1 OFF PFF grade this year. Here's where that would rank among VT offensive linemen in past 5 years.1. 2020 Darrisaw (95.6 lol)2. 2020 Tenuta (85.7)3. 2021 Tenuta (77.5)4. 2024 Rimac (77.1)5. 2021 Clements (74.2)6. 2024 Chaplin (72.0)7. 2021 Dzansi (71.2) https://t.co/y4jM0CZRh1โ Doug Bowman (@DougBowman247) December 26, 2024
Expecting more WVU OL-men to commit but he'll be the best of the bunch. French, how do you feel about him?

Jim Larranaga explains why he chose to step down at Miami:"What shocked me beyond belief was after we made it to the Final Four, just 18 months ago, the very first time I met with the players, eight of them decided they were going to put their name in the portal and leave. very cool.
Funny for the coach who bought a final 4 team and then bought our starting center doesnt like NIL anymore
One radio report I heard earlier said they fired Larranaga
Well, I am glad I plan for leftovers. My plan for 7 adults and 2 toddlers turned into 16 adults, and 2 toddlers.
I am building a new workbench for the new house. Just hit 50, and I am noticing getting up and down the mountains isn't quite as easy anymore.
Meh, I think that's a lazy/convenient way to leave without any scrutiny from fans or media.
100 percent boundary safety. In Sam Houston's defense, he regularly dropped into single high, which the Hokies did a lot of this season. He will line up on the boundary hash and then sink to the middle at the proper depth. Excellent form tackler. There will be a period of adjustment as he learns to come up and fill the alley, which I haven't seen him do much of. Also, I hope he spends summer doing speed work. He doesn't look like he has top end speed.
Saw this coming once Jim Boheim retired since I'm still convinced that Jim Laranaga and Jim Boheim are the same person.

wasn't that Buzz Nutters number?
EDIT: never mind he was 50
