Staying home this year, my sister had to work today and will have to work Thursday as well and she's the one that hosts the family dinner. My parents and the in-laws are coming over for a visit so it'll still be a full house.

Wife is catholic and I'm Jewish so our spoiled kids celebrate both holidays.
Unfortunately Middle kiddo has HFM so we're basically quarantining for Christmas. Wife is upset but honestly it's not the worst.
Maybe DCwilson selecting that username was foreshadowing his new career opportunity in 2025 as our new defensive coordinator.

Welp, we did such a great job hosting Thanksgiving, Christmas got moved from my in laws to our house this year. I'll miss celebrating around the Christmas tree of a non practicing Jewish/Buddhist household. We are doing heavy appetizers and a ham to go with my mother in laws baked pineapple dish. Then to North Carolina after Boxing Day to visit my family.
I hope everyone on here has a great holiday, or at least just a break. May your next week be filled with portal commits and the new DC that YOU were dreaming of.

With good personnel and a good play called it was the best defense in the Big10 for half a decade. The problem was a bad play caller, low upside too big to stay at safety safeties who didn't want to fit the gaps, and awful safety teaching. Given that the clock is short even with the portal, you ride the horse that brought you. Scheme isn't the problem when everyone is in the right place and the boundary safety misses a tackle right in a defined alley.

...it is... hard to 'splain... hard to put my finger on *it* exactly... though here goes (as this is best kept as an off-season and spring-game breaking of tape project-- where Eye can I.D. how well we fit him... now all I can do is vet his history...)
The coaching sewing circle grades him higher on pass-pro' rep' than anything else. So I was told. He also kinda carries something of a: cutsie tag... (Eye prefer this to 'finesse', FWIW, here).
Nevertheless, how well does that jock with Pry wanting to be 'physical' vs. the All-Charmin Conference? How well does it fit the shorter than he is listed B.Green Rb1 with okay+++ career numbers? How well can his nearly all gone blocking inheritance fund that? (This; however, could be a slight blessing in Experience Curve disguise... tho' the Learning Curve is due to reset to: (o, o, o; o) for the 3rd time in 5 campaigns and you do the slow-start maths there...)
I need to get there in the spring and seeeeeee it... first... (Coach God willing of course)...
