I have so much "value" that 0/32 NFL teams have any interest in me. I could go play in the UFL but no one actually gives a shit about minor league football...its almost like the name on the front of the Jersey is a huge part of any players actual "value". But acknowlegeing that would poke holes in the fallacy that is NIL. If this all wasn't so incredibly illogical and utterly asisnine, it might actually be funny.
Edit: yes, this is a Preliminary Injunction and not a final ruling but for all intents, this is over. The NCAA hasn't challenged PI in the past and probably won't this time.

Jahmari Deloatch, who they Hokies flipped from Cincinnati is also an Oscar Smith product. They just won the Class 6 Championship in VA. Believe Covill was a big part of Oscar Smith winning the 2020 and 2021 state titles.

I thought this would be a great time for Wake Forest to quit football. Clawson leaving, they've been bad for a while. They don't contribute any revenue to the ACC, and if they cut football it would give everyone else an extra $3 mil/year. Sounds like they don't have quite as much donor money as they usually do either.

College athletes can hire agents to negotiate Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) contracts and other NIL activities. The 2021 U.S. Supreme Court decision in NCAA v. Alston changed this.
Agents can't represent student-athletes in negotiations or market their athletics ability to professional teams without jeopardizing their eligibility.
Sounds like it depends on what actions the agents are taking on whether these guys can play.

However you look at it, his tanking this season is a kick in the teeth.
I don't think it's necessarily about convincing your draft picks to play. I think some of it has to do with, once you hire an agent, you are then ineligible to play any more. Some of these guys may just be hiring agents (I say hiring - signing with). Granted, some is based on not wanting to potentially get themselves injured in a game that doesn't mean much and potentially risking their draft position or general draft-ability.
I thought in the presser that he attributed the second half defensive meltdowns to conditioning.
Come to think of it, in most games, I think we scored the majority of our points in the first half as well (in the unresearched memory banks, for whatever that's worth).
Definitely has pinstripe bowl vibes to it.

Seemed like it was a problem with those losses, but maybe not the primary one.
My tinfoil hat theory is that Strength Coach thing was a manufactured story to redirect fans away from poor coaching/time management.
