As I watched Brock Hoffman play last night on MNF I can't help but think how frustrated he has to be now that you can play for fucking ever and change teams whenever the fuck you want. He must be pissed he got the wire brush treatment from the NCAA. What a joke.

A bunch of portal guys in the 2 deep on a 6-6 team that can't close games doesn't indicate to me they are "passed on the depth" chart, no- it indicates to me that they are looking for greener pastures- money, coaching etc. I won't believe for one second we are sitting on a talent gold mine and these guys were going to be on the bench. not one second. That's what the Fuente defenders said, and you see that that was horseshit.

Yeah I mean Thamel and the X crowd seem to have him as a hot commodity but idk who looks at his film and wants to pick him up for anything more than a P4 backup. When I first saw the news I assumed Diaz wanted an upgrade.
This doesn't really surprise me. Never really broke in on the offense and I heard they were trying him out on defense to see if he could make the field there.

same for me. and most the time is clearly so scripted and fake. i used to watch the NFL draft, and eventually that even turned into mel and todd arguing over player rankings and yelling at each other, and you could just tell it was an act, completely fake.
i actually don't watch any shows on espn anymore, but that is more because i am always outside with my kids after work, same on weekends.
Keep in mind you are going to see two waves of movement this year that we haven't seen before. Teams are coming to terms with 105 roster spots. That cuts both ways. It gives some guys the chance to move up to a bigger school that now has 20 more scholarships but it also means kids deemed outside of the 105 spots are looking for new homes.
Likely going to be significantly more this year than prior years where it's ranged from 2700-3300 kids in the portal. I would put a guesstimate at 5400-5700 this time.
The real crunch will be how many guys that didn't have scholarships at 85 scholarship limit now do at the same school at 105. Going to be interesting to see if schools flex to grab higher rated guys over keeping their PWO guys.

Not sure what he's thinking. Duke is his best spot, and they gave him quite a chunk of change to be there.

Looks like he played FS in high school so with our holes at safety, would be nice if he could fit there. Especially if his speed and WR hands have him ball hawking deep zones
