I credit that orange bowl to the Stanford OL more than Luck.
This is a quality in-Ring high I.Q. post.
+several.
me?
I see it as (now) very Safety (Fs1), 'avaliable'.
I do not see a multi-task Swiss Army (c.Grim, jack of all trades, covering/masking) pocket knife.
I do not see trustworthy ILb (pseudo-twins) play on tape. (suspect fills... rob us of otherwise clean plays).
And I do NOT see as much 'fast-twitch' or burst-type guys that Bud courted.
(We actually have a couple/few... tho' they make the MOST misQ's... dangnation... that systemic hurts).
Or, to put it another way... how many High Schools play this set in '24???
i.e., where do Eye go to look for good-scheme-fits for this set here?

This 100%.
We bungled and mismanaged our way out of multiple FG attempts this year.
With more competent coaching, Love is 100% at least 2nd team.
Offensive lines every where are down due to portal and NIL. No one can maintain depth.
Sure but what about the SMU guy that was first team?
If you could protect the QB and read the single high safety properly, you could hit big plays against Bud- Schaub was the only UVA QB to beat the hokies for a 16 year period. Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, Aaron Rodgers, Rod Rutherford all played in the NFL, all had success against Bud.
Don't forget Andrew Luck. That Orange Bowl second half was a fuck you masterclass.
Quick post of mine above was time constraint, I was at work. I'll be more clear.
Pierson Prioleau is Safety coach. Marve is LB coach.
In my opinion safety play was poor all season in approximate level as Linebacker play. As I understand it, linebackers and safeties are distinctly different. A safety may be considered a defensive back but not a linebacker. Let me know if that's incorrect and that's why my comment is poor.
Huff definitely not leaving Marshall... This week.
Coach Huff joined @ToTheTopTalk to dismiss the rumors linking him to Southern Miss...."I love being the Marshall coach, today, Dec. 3rd, 2024... I have no idea why these rumors won't go away. I'll be happy to join you guys next week in person to discuss further...."#SMTTT pic.twitter.com/GTQcGwfq7Pโ Cloverleaf Mall (@CloverleafMall) December 3, 2024
How bad were the offensive linemen in the ACC for Moore and Chaplin to even be honorable mention?
Strong has a case for First Team. Definitely better than Delane
The problem is Pry shorted him about 6 or 7 attempts. He just didn't get the attempts to justify it. He was tied for 12th in the ACC in FG attempts. Tied for 6th in Xtra Point attempts.
Am I crazy for thinking Strong and Delane should be flip-flopped?
Directional rustbelt tech's best players transferred elsewhere.
Tuten is a bad ass. But the guy from UNC did have 500 (!) more rushing yards this season. It's kind of a no-brainer.
I refuse to believe there are 4 better kickers in the league than Love. Actually I find it hard to believe that there is a single kicker better than Love. Dude is a legit stud.

"Division I institutions will be able to distribute slightly more than $20M in annual revenue sharing in the form of institutional NIL deals with student-athletes."
If this is correct, then an outside NIL deal would be limited to whatever it is the school doesn't purchase. Does the school own a lot, or just enough to market and broadcast games, interviews, and sell jerseys in the bookstore?

Feel like Love doesn't get the love (pun intended) he deserves. Another super solid year. 15/17 including 2/3 from 50+, and perfect on extra points
like the eagles or something, I dunno

Congrats fox and espn- you effectively killed Marshall -and many others- programs. Hope you are happy.
Moore was honorable mention did they run out of players to pick?
EDIT: yes that is the case as their are 6 Honorable Mention centers
Ok, yea. I 100% agree there.

chaplin was amazing before his injury. That injury was an inflection point in overall oL effectiveness
