A good opening part of the day for the Hokies will move them up in the rankings as the current #7 has only 5 remaining wrestlers, as does two of the teams tied for 9th.
Penn State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, and Ohio State all have their entire stable still alive.
Seidel opens on deck on Mat 4, while Ventrasca opens in on mat 6.

Gaj opens with Arkansas Little Rock's Brock Herman who advanced with a 7 point win over the 30-seed following a 1-3 loss to the 14-seed. A win would put Gaj up against the winnder of Cal Poly's Andre Gonzales or NC State's Koy Buesgens, who Gaj defeated in tiebreakers back in the ACC championship.
Miller has Indiana's Bryce Lowery, who advanced by Falling #13 Derek Ralke of Ohio. A win and Miller will take on the winner of Penn's Jude Swisher and Vinny Zerban of Iowa State.
Desiante's day starts with 10-seed Myles Takats of Bucknell who is coming in after getting falled. It'll be tough, but if Desiante can pull out the win, he will take on the winner of Cornell's Simon Ruiz and Northern Iowas Jared Simma.
Bullock opens with Northern Iowa's Nick Fox who knocked out Iowa State's Isaac Dean last night. The winner will take on the winner of Oklahoma State's Zack Ryder and Stanford's Abraham Wojcikiwicz (who Bullock MD'ed in the semifinals of the ACC tournament)
Sasso will begin with Ohio's Zayne Lehman who dropped a 1-7 decision to the #3 seed. The winner will take on the winner of Oregon State's Justin Rademacher and Ohio State's Luke Geog.
And in the heavyweights, Mullen will start with Wyoming's Christian Carroll. A win and he'd be up against the winner of Appalachian State's Stephan Monchery and Penn State's Cole Mirasola.
Round 2 is slated to start in about an hour and a half.
Still alive in the Championship Brackets are 125 - Eddie V and 133 - Seidel. One win from each of them in this round guarantees All American status.
Ventresca will be wrestling Princeton's Marc-Anthony McGowan, the 10 seed who got this far by upsetting Stanford's Nico Provo 4-2, who Eddie beat in tiebreakers in the ACC championships. A win and Ventresca would move into the semis against the winner of Indiana's Jacob Moran or Minnesota's Jore Volk. Volk beat Ventresca with an SV during the dual matchup.
Seidel opens today with Kyler Larkin of Arizona State, who advanced with a Fall yesterday of Penn's Evan Mougalian and shutout MD of Iowa State's Garrett Grice. A win, and he will face the winner of Northern Iowa's Markel Baker or top seeded Jax Forrest of Oklahoma State, who, like Seidel, has bonus-pointed both of his bouts yesterday.
