I realize its 38 degrees in Minneapolis right now, but i'm shocked at how not-full the stadium for the Gophers is.
And it was Minnesota beating Pedo State that allowed us to get into the championship game. We were #3 and PSU was #2. No way we would have passed them without the Minnesota loss. Love seeing Penn State lose. Hopefully the score holds.

I know there are some people who would take a national championship in football at the cost of academics,
To be fair, it's not all or nothing. If we're top 25 in academics and top 40 in athletics, and could shift funding around to be top 30 in each, I'd say 'hell yes'
I enjoy seeing these posts about Northern schools who can/will host playoff games and the thought of an SEC school having to go play in 30 degrees and possible snow for the first time ever.
SEC teams never leave the South and get to play in a temperate climate all year, they'd fold in an outdoor game sub 40°.

I mean, you saw it in 2018 when Bud was dealing with heart problems and a roster turnover - that was a defense outside the top 70. I think the worst JHam defense was similarly ranked.
