SMU seems to have a huge contingent at UVA. Not Hokies number but still a pretty impressive turnout to see their Mustangs go right down to score on first drive. SMU slot receiver is track fast.
Agreed! I attended Clemson for the in-state tuition and lottery scholarships, but never wavered as a Hokie.
Your nephew could attend Duke for an education but still be a Hokie!
Time to watch SMU dismantle the Boohoos before turning on Hokies basketball at 2pm
Sounds like that is correct. With Coney as the primary back.
Not sure, first one he definitely didn't have the aggressive attack that I came to expect last year. He treated guys like bowling pins last year but seemed timid in the match I watched this year.
I wasn't able to watch this one, but what the heck is going on with TJ? These last two duals have seemed like a huge step back for him from last year
I've seen a lot of talking heads talking positively about the VT defense. IDK if it's just a lazy take, or if they see something we don't. SP+ has us with the 33rd best defense... which is fine I guess?
Unleash the Schleecret Weapon?
Hokies!!
Let's go!
2 is very true. At least he wasn't trying to gloss it though. I think the worst part was where he admitted practices haven't been good either.
"I'd like to tell you that it's really good in practice; it hasn't been. We don't play with the best basketball IQ and that's on me. I've got to teach it better, I've got to drill it better."
One thing I do hope is that the rest of the guys learn from Wolak. He has some attack styles I haven't seen from most Hokies in terms of moving an opponent while on top and also in controlling position. Hoping that spreads to the other weight classes.
Looks like it....

1st: Lt Peterson, thanks for sharing all the great basketball content u provide us.
2nd: That was a depressing listen. Wow
Wow! VT Wrestling is kicking a** and taking names.
HOKIES
Rose Micheaux adds another double-double almost certainly.
Stanford also has most of their sports coaching positions paid for at least partially by established family trust endowments though. Their women's basketball head coach isn't even referred to as coach. She is the "The Setsuko Ishiyama Director of Women's Basketball". Three of their assistant coaches are also named endowments. Men's basketball head coach, same thing.
The head coach for football has three endowments titles.
He is the
1. Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football
2. Andrew Luck Director of Offense •
3. Kevin M. Hogan Quarterbacks Coach
Four other football assistant coaches also have endowment titles.
While I doubt the endowments cover 100%, not having to come up with 100% from revenue makes things much simpler to hire the best coaches.
Believe it or not, I've seen two articles this week saying Marve was rumored to be heading to the NFL. They lost me when they referenced the great year he was having at VT, lol.
Haven't seen much to back it up, but I don't feel like Watson or Belfort is the future at QB1. Might be surprised, but I think we see a transfer QB starting next year if Drones leaves.
Yeah looks like it was a really dominant win.
Not sure why Medina wrestled at 133 but he got run over by the #6 wrestler in the Class.
Stewart lost 4-1 which is concerning because last year I can't recall him having any low scoring matches. They were normally 10+ points.
Jimmy Mullen lost to the #9 heavyweight 4-1 but it was in Sudden Victory so was tied at 1 after three rounds.
LET'S GO
Allright Ladies! Let's go get that elusive NC!
Local news broadcasts are basically just a $300 haircut in a suit reading other people's tweets for an hour.

Cavman riding in was actually Cavwoman.
