I wasn't able to watch the game but listened to the IMG call of it. The thing that impressed me the most was hearing H-O-K-I-E-S, throughout the game. Y'all did great. I think this is the first Saturday I can remember I didn't see a single full college football game. I also missed enjoying the game with y'all the best Hokies out there. Hopefully our power will be back on by next weekend. I'm all aboard the hype train, especially if it has AC.

Not sure where else to put this but Tech is outscoring opponents 55-6 in the first quarter this year. I cannot tell you how much I love that.
Edit: BTW all 6 given up were to Liberty.
I like what I have seen week to week from this team. I think this team takes games seriously and prepares well. Earlier in the season it seemed like that was not the case. After two games I was incredibly concerned. The coaches and players took ownership of the issues and committed to getting them fixed. They did. I am hopeful this team will go 11-1.

I was pretty pissed at Gallo after the second early snap, but I wasn't going to blast him on social media/forums. But you are right, I've seen a lot of people rip Motu and Stroman (I still don't understand this and always defend him).

Every fan base has the bad apples. There have been plenty of us to be quick to rip Motu, Stroman, or Gallo this season or last.
Additionally, Syracuse is scary because they can score and light you up through the air. Not the kind of team you want to start out hot against you. Luckily, they do have a porous defense and we now have an offense that can take advantage of that.
This one game at a time, thorough, business-like approach from Fuente seems to be changing the culture of the team so I'm choosing to be optimistic that this team will be up and ready to avoid the trap game.
You bet your sweet ass it is. And we now have a whole generation of Hokies who have no clue what kind of house of horrors the Carrier Dome can be.
In its own way, this game will be the biggest test of Fuente's career thus far.
I would say that the previous 2 games were games where everything just went our way. Ask ECU, they couldn't even punt the ball against us.
Is it just me or did it seem like there were a ton of upsets and a ton of ejections on targeting today?
That is glorious. The average poster there seems very lost. Every other post is calling for a hold against us. lol I've counted 2 posters there who have any competence.
