If the past is any indication of the future, we've always had a better season when the ACCCG is in Florida.
I agree. If it's not super close, it may as well be somewhere with plenty of hotel space and some other activities, so you can make a weekend of it.
Sounds good, but the fan excuse before was having to essentially pay for 2 bowl games in one season.
Is this stadium more attractive than both Jax and Tampa?
While I understand your point, the issue with having the watermark on the sides of the picture makes it much easier to for others to crop out that section and claim the picture as their own.
Georgia also tried to pull the same stunt but when the economic pressure hit they reversed course quickly.
I like this. That's good.
I thought he put it there for the punch to the groin effect on the Summers sack. /s
Very Cool.
Who will VT be playing?
You sure? I'm looking at their roster for that season on the ECU website, and its showing Drayvon as wearing 43 that year. Did a search for Daley Hall ECU on Google, and it only brings up a bio for a track runner.
Switzer? I barely know her
YAY! Everyone go join The Key Player's Club as fast as you can!!
All this discussion about after the last couple games got us thinking ... #GetBetter practice #HardSmartTough pic.twitter.com/Gdh8XazYJu— VT Football (@VT_Football) September 27, 2016
Thanks! Yeah, we had nearly 400 show up in 2011 and then I want to say upwards of 300 in 2014 for the Duke game. The way things are shaping up this year with the way the team is playing, we could shatter those numbers this year. I know the prices could be a little high, but we are pretty hamstrung by what Duke charges us, but this does come with multiple kegs of beer (craft beer at that) and a huge buffet of all you can eat tailgating food, like bbq, hamburgers, hotdogs, wings, etc. They also have us tailgating in a large gym right next to Wallace Wade, so you get plenty of bang for your buck, and don't have to leave the tailgate until just before kickoff.
Hope to see you again next month!
You have to give them credit for playing to the whistle.
i'm still questioning why they put the bathrooms on the mezzanine which bottlenecks traffic...thinking it was the work of a Wolfpack architect. LOL
#43 for ECU for that bowl game was Daley Hall....Kicker. This is not him.
For the Duke game, we'll have a big function, with proceeds going toward a scholarship for a local student (out of state tuition for these kids, so the scholarship certainly helps). It is all you can eat, all you can drink tailgating with your fellow Hokies for 3 hours prior to kickoff. You can buy your tickets at the following location: Trianglehokies.org
if you don't want to set up your own tailgate, i suggest you buy a ticket to this one. i did it in my senior year and i had a great time rubbing elbows with Hokies from the Triangle area AND ate/drank my way until kickoff. sure, it might be a bit pricey but consider where the money goes.
Looks like it could be a former player - Drayvon Fairley, who wore #43 as a Freshman in 2012 when they went to the New Orleans Bowl.

What about Switzer? Do we have an answer?
I don't even know what situation during a basketball game would call for any of these reactions, but damnit do I love them....
Great shots as usual, but have you thought about moving the watermark to the right or left corner? It seems to take away from some of the shots being in the center. Especially, the Skipper shot.
Man... he looks like a Dementer thats going to eat your soul
Listening to bud and Fuente at halftime made me want head butt my office computer monitor and scream HOKIES at the top of my lungs
Good eye, that definitely looks like a real jersey, not a replica.

Vinston Painter signed with 'Skins active roster.
