All of this coupled with the fact that I have not had so much fun in Lane Stadium for years. It really took me back to 2004 when I was young and didnt know what I was introducing myself to. Let's keep it up and that Thursday night we play Miami will be sold out and Lane will be packed to the gills.

We were supposed to according to the cheerleaders and UTenn was supposed to do their T, but was told that day they couldn't due to logistics. I can only assume the very pro-Vols organizing group said its only fair that we change Enter Sandman to Thunderstfuck.

It reminds me if a metaphor an Oregon fan used during the Chip years, "the other team is always trying to dig out of a hole". That's what we're doing to teams, tell Bud that you need two good quarters of defense and you'll pour so many points on they abandon the run. That's a recipe for success boys.

The fact that Fuente still has this attitude of "There's quite a bit that we need to do if we want to improve as a team" after outscoring teams in our past 2 games 103-17 is just so great to see...that attitude of "always do better" is clearly passing on to the players, and it seems like they've all come out in the past few games just really full of energy and playing way above the level of the teams they've been playing once they get going.

This is a fun team, and an awesome direction.

A lot of things went right this week for us to sneak a #25 spot in the rankings. I still don't see it happening though. Gotta destroy UNC in 2 weeks and we'll comfortably be in.

What a great win!

The couple guys that did make a few plays against us are all all graduating too. WRs Zay Jones, Jimmy Williams & QB/RB James Summers. Also their QB Phillip Nelson although he doesn't scare me that much.

Already looking forward to beating them again next year.

It's the House That Frank Built. I think CJF acknowledged as much when he spoke to the sideline reporter - wanting to uphold the high standard he's set, or keep Special Teams a focus or some such.

Frank's also been pretty visible these first weeks so he's a bullet point on every reporter's list. I think CJF is handling it great - he's been gracious and has given Frank every credit.

When we keep winning, they'll start writing stories about him. I love his composure, I love how focused he is on improving and how that has been embraced by the players, especially Jerod Evans. They are going to (continue to) make sweet, sweet music together. LETS GO.

Most important stat: 2 games 0 fumbles.

Evans run was better till Cam accelerated across the goal line. That was just an awesome run, I knew the Heisman was his at that point. You dont typically do that to those good SEC defenses around that time. Evans' was cool and very good, and hopefully he will have a Cam moment down the road.

There is a lot going on in that replay. Watched it dozens of times. Teller clearing it out coming back towards the cutback. Gets a bit of a block from the field judge to start the fun. One thing I noticed after several reviews is that Nijman and Cam are hauling downfield to block for their boy. This team really works together and loves to celebrate the team accomplishments. Ford is always there for his guys. Both when Cam scored earlier and when Evans broke that run.

Watch out, ACC. These guys came to play this year.

Sixteen years, holy crap. I remember riding the bus in 10th grade that day couldnt wait for that Thursday nighter.

It's ok to reference beamerball. That doesn't need an expiration because it truly was an innovation. However, we have to be careful to not call what we saw today beamerball. It was only like beamerball. See the difference?

In this case I think it is impossible to get away from it. Stroman is wearing the ceremonial #25 and takes a punt to the house. How does any announcer get away from bringing up Beamerball.

But I think they can bring up Beamerball for special teams for a bit longer.

Averaging 40 points per game on offense: that can be Fuenteball and I'm loving it.

I would give my left nut to play UT again.
