How's everyone feeling about UF-UT? I know a Tennessee win looks better for us and I don't really like either team, but I hope Florida beats the hell out of them. Can they both lose?

# | Virginia Tech vs. East Carolina Game Time, TV Info and Open Thread To follow this up we just walked around "grounds" for the past hour. I saw one group tailgating in a completely empty parking lot. By group I mean 3 people sitting in chairs behind a car wearing orange. There is no buzz, no excitement and nobody giving a crap. It's almost sad. Makes me appreciate Blacksburg and the game day electricity that you can feel in the air every Saturday all the more! We've certainly got a special environment for football and college overall. Go Hokies!
Yea, we've been way off the national radar for 5 years or so. It's hard to swallow, but I get it. When you've been a .500, middle of the ACC team for several years, and you aren't a traditional power, there just isn't much to talk about nationally.
Realistically, we're much closer to a Kansas State (in terms of national rep) than we'd like to accept.
Hopefully, Coach Fuente gets us back into the top 25 regularly. I definitely see the potential and like what he's building.

I've never been to Lane Stadium and the only time I've seen the Hokies play was Battle at Bristol and flew in from California for that. I was SO angry that they didn't let us do our entrance like I was expecting. Heartbroken, I've gotten over the score and getting treated poorly already, but I'll never forgive them for not letting us do our entrance.
The right ones can be pretty important 
I know it looks better for us with a UT win, but I fucking hate the Vols. Go Gators!!!
