Disagree. This game is ours if we just hold the ball. Take away two fumbles (2nd quarter and the one Cam coughed up) and we are within 3 points with a defense that has been killing it, sometimes even with quick changes after turnovers.

We've skipped shooting ourselves in the foot, and are shooting ourselves right in head.

We are so bad. Defense has played pretty well considering the hole our lame ass offense and special teams has placed them in. This will be a long season.

I feel horrible for our defensive players. They played their balls off and are getting rewarded by having a shit ton of points hung on them.

Memphis was 124th in penalty yards last year. These penalties are going to continue throughout the year.
The good news is, Memphis only had 9 fumbles last year. If we don't fumble another ball the rest of the year we should be good!

Can't wait to see the mental gymnastics people will make tomorrow to spin this as anything other than it is.
