that was pretty funny. Although they better hope Woody Baron only looks like Michael Strahan and doesn't play like him or else they are in trouble. Same thing for Teller and Magwa from LOTM....that dude was straight ruthless

Yup, and they've already gotten their standard 2 races this year. This event is just icing on the cake for them.
There are going to be a lot of additions on churches in the near future down there.

The Asian kid who sold me Taco Bell today looked like he knew what he was doing.

ASU shocks Texas Tech all night long.

Does this mean that UNC will never be able to do this?

They weren't calling us National Title contenders, but both ESPN and SI ran front page articles in the days after going into depth about how the coaching turnover Beamer made was poised to take VT to a greater height than we had achieved in the 10 years prior and how we were on the cusp of being a legitimate football power again, and how Loeffler and Brewer were the perfect fits for VT and how they were going to have us playing in Charlotte that year....

And then the ECU game happened.

Just dropping by to say I am jealous as fuck. Have a great time Hokies!!

That's not what I recall but maybe I'm wrong. If so I have to imagine it would be because of a relatively weak rest of the schedule. VT was only ranked #17 after beating OSU. That is comparable to Wisconsin's beating LSU last week (they went from unranked to #16/#10) and I've not heard anyone tout them as a national contender and mostly things along the line of "they won't stay there once they start losing games in Big 10 play."

What the hell is the difference in outscheming and outplaying? It's not like we invented the forward pass and unveiled it in this game for the first time. We used to complain about the offensive staff saying, "we are just a block away" or blaming our ineptitude on execution issues. Year after year those issues were never resolved. Was improving the offense a matter of the team playing better or merely scheming better? I guess I just don't see how you can separate the two and feel like it takes credit away from our guys who made the plays on the field.
