he also makes a bunch of key blocks like this past week 4th and 1 he made a HUGE block on two Liberty players to spring Evans for a big gain.

He clearly has the talent to be a high draft pick, however seems like he needs to focus on some other things first

You guys need to dial it down. You should go back and watch video of Wyatt Teller's play last year against Ohio State and the better teams Tech played.

He plays like a bully and gets a lot of penalties, but he doesn't hold his blocks very long. Because of that, his man made a lot of the plays last year that resulted in sacks.

stack the box and bring some zone blitzes. watched the Georgia UT game from last year and saw what the real UT will probably look like.

A ton of zone reads with PA here and there, some bubble screens and option to go power set. I would say our current offense is pretty close to UT's in terms of looks/packages...

VT wins this game if we can limit turnovers, score TD's when in the red zone, GANG TACKLE, and make UT play from behind early.

sorry but i have not seen anything in the last 2 seasons (admittedly 4-5 games) of tennessee football that makes me even mildly believe dobbs can stretch the field with his arm. I think hes tremendous with the ball in his hands, but I think Hundley was a much better quarterback in terms of his arm. I think Dobbs is a much quicker guy though who can make plays with his feet. I worry about the option game and losing containment. We need our LBs to have a good game which kind of concerns me.

You have good reason to be confident. UT should have handled App State with no problem. I don't see how a rational UT fan could excuse the performance. I feel thankful and lucky to come out with a win. I see it as a one game fluke where the players got caught reading their own newspaper clippings and looking ahead. It's been a few years since UT was favored to win anything. I think there will be an entirely different beast this Sat. (at least I hope there is) It's gonna be a long year if there isn't.
