Fuente was also on with Rocky Top Insider yesterday. They do a short interview and then take a look at the work he's done with QB's in the past. Evans' potential scares them a bit for the Battle at Bristol game. VT stuff starts around the 29 min mark.

This is how I imagine the coming season will go for Travon and probably Isaiah and Bucky too. Their touches and totals will probably go down as the ball gets spread around more, but they will be electric when they do get the ball.

Side note to the side question: Tech's thrashing of the Pack was kind of like meeting someone at a friend's party and lying about what you do for a living, because what the hell? You'll never see them again. There are at least four people who lived in the greater Washington D.C. area in 2010 who think I'm a NASCAR pit chief.

I would expect Loeffler's offense at BC to have a bit more consistency, ONLY because it will be directly overseen by Addazio himself. He will likely make sure Lefty focuses on the run game so he can't get too wild and crazy with his formations. I don't think they will be explosive by any means at all, but having an emphasis on running the ball will probably help him out somewhat. Lefty just got too cute with plays for his own good most of the time.

I couldn't think of a better union of two groups that pretend to be real athletes.
(I mean no offense to wrestlers. They are real athletes in my book.)

# | ASK FRENCH- What are your Hokie football questions before fall camp kicks off? I think what he's saying about this offense is that it has aspects of PJ and UM. Not just the passing game. If you look at what Fuente does schematically it is very similar to PJ's option attack. They use the same formation and backfield action but hand the ball to different players running in different directions to stretch the defense. Memphis did it. GT does it. He's not referring specifically to just the passing game.
Did anybody else see that CJ was in Blacksburg last weekend working out with guys in the Beamer Barn?

Funny, I thought last season we were saying that without consistent touches, McMillian couldn't get into a rhythm and live up to his potential. Now we expect him to get fewer touches and still do fantastic every time he touches the ball. Sorry. Not buying it. I mean I hope it happens, but I think the pace of our offense and the need to swap out skill positions regularly will be detrimental to stats per touch, not just overall stats.
