This is how I imagined the one guy's face who kept saying he didn't like that we have Evans while watching his highlights:

I agree they encouraged them to go (and they should have gone, even though it may not have worked out long term). But at the time, I do not think the staff could have predicted all three RB's were going to leave early - in the past I believe KJ and Shyrone were the only ones to leave early from that position (and to my recollection MV1 and D-Lo are the only Beamer era players to declare early, at that time).
It was something they had not dealt with in the past and may have caught them by surprise in terms of pipeline and recruiting needs 2-3 years out.
His post-George Zimmerman verdict tweets will go down as some of the greatest tweets in history. Pure gold.
Considering the reason for his dismissal was never released, I'm going to guess he doesn't say, which is for the best.
Ecu you say? GUILTY!

Everytime I see something about him, I just think of all that talent squandered. I remember when we were recruiting him, and all the talk was how he will exceed Mike.
Such as shame.
Man they are hyping the hell out of Evans. I love it
if true_very good to hear
Am I the only one thinking I might have tried this stunt too if given the opportunity when I was a young, dumb student?
That's....incredible.
Maybe someone needed a few helmets to go with the game jerseys stolen at GT in 2007?
you know how you look at professional athletes or CEOs your age and think "man, how is it I've done so little with my life in my time on earth?" Marcus is the counterpoint. Raised self esteem all around!!!
Good thing Strong bolted to Texas or there would be no "Virginia Tech" next to Ford's name.
Arm tackle...the cop needs to get his head and shoulder in front to cut down on the yards after contact
My hope is that the coaching staff recognizes and rides the "hot" hand in the game. To me, the combination of Shai, MW, and DJ are more power type backs while TM probably has the most speed/power combination and McClease is that is less power and Peoples is less speed. We need them all to learn and execute the offense.
Nope - only held in Ho Chi Minh City that one year and in 2006 moved to India. Was in Mumbai for a couple years, then was to move to Bangalore in 2008, only to be suspended for security reasons before it could be held. In 2009 the Malaysian Open was created to replace it.
I regret that I have but one leg to give for this response.
I may be wrong, but didn't he have somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 fumbles and 2 ints?
I'm good with this.
You're absolutely right that injuries have hampered him. And I guess that is what's holding the media back from giving him even a single vote. But, he definitely played at a high level last year. I remember this article was shared on TKP last October. Knowing he has this ability is why I'm surprised no one gave him any votes. I wasn't expecting that he'd be voted All-ACC. Just that he would have received some form of recognition.
Plus, David Hale again mentioned him as one of the better corners in the ACC. I thought that would indicate a couple media members may have considered him a possibility.
Preseason media hype doesn't matter at all, but I do believe that this is a bit surprising how under the radar Facyson is this year.
Watching this made me realize that I need to up my and my daughter's VT apparel game.
He really hasn't done anything of note since 2013 (injuries, of course), so I can understand why it would seem unfair to give a guy with no interceptions and 2.5 tackles per game last year such an honor.
I love it!
Thanks for the link, because otherwise, I didn't get it.
Side note: What is this Vietnam Open and is it still a thing?

Well, it being being televised on national TV might be a bit of a problem.
