I would argue that being the secondary recruiter of a player is more of an honorary title to the position coach or the coordinator than an impact gun recruiter. Worrying would be warranted if they are missing recruits that are the position they primarily coach. If Wiles is missing DLL recruits then it's concerning.
Wonder if some centrally located pro stadium with a roof would be available ? Does such a thing exist ?

I thought he'd do well at Mike -- Diagnoses the play, get's into the gap, doesn't get fooled by the shuffle / motion stuff, hits hard. Thoughts on why he wouldn't fit at mike?
think his biggest obstacle is that it doesn't look like he has a long wingspan (he gets good extension on his blocks yet his arms still look close to his chest) and he plays a bit tall.
Doesn't seem like he dominates his initial point of attack on the DL, but is good at keeping engaged with the blocker.

Savoy might be the prized piece of this recruiting class when we look back on it in 2020. He is an outstanding talent. D-1 speed and some to spare. He might play as a true freshman as a kick returner because there's a lot of talent in the 2016 class already: Deablo, Kumah, Patterson, Denmark.
Definitely an underrated recruit. Vance Vice might have found a diamond in the rough here. It looks like a young, athletic offensive line nucleus is starting to develop in Blacksburg and that is something worth getting excited about. On a similar note:
When is the last time you can remember the OG-C-OG positions being so solid. Wyatt, Eric, and Augie have a full season of working together. That continuity is invaluable.
Damn! I am happy about the o-line for the present and future for the first time in a long time!

Talent wins National Championships. To emphasize this... the last 20 national champions have averaged 2.9 top 10 recruiting classes in the four years prior to their national title. Oklahoma in 2000 is the only program without a top 10 recruiting class to ever win a national title. SOURCE.
A team can make an NY6 Bowl Game, or even the playoff with top 25 classes. No way in hell you win a NC with that kind of recruiting though.
If only our coaches could recruit...
I don't remember who said it earlier but I do like the idea of Cincinnati being a rotating location. New recruiting grounds, lots of good beer to get fully dipped in, close to Hokieagr's house.
