Recently rewatched the 2012 Labor Day game with GT. Saw the "first collegiate punt" of one walk-on true freshman AJ Hughes. Had to fall on a mishandled snap later that led to a score, but was right back to putting them inside the 15 next time up.
Same, I grew up in Southampton county fishing the Blackwater, Nottaway and James rivers. Occasionally we'd venture out to the bay and go to the lighthouse and bay bridge tunnel.
Yeah, I'd have to put a hundo on the good guys beating the spread in Bristol. Pitt is always a toss up and even though they're UVA, rivalry games are crazy.

I'd say that's a fair line. Honestly see us losing by 10 to 14.
It makes sense because declaring for the supplemental draft gets him name exposure. He won't get drafted, but he'll get a chance in a camp somewhere. Second, he makes a valid point about the change in punt protection from prostyle to a spread punt formation.
That's awesome news for Dulaney. He was one of my all-time favorite Hokie ballers and Seth is right, nobody worked harder and is more deserving of this opportunity than Malcolm. Been following him since his days at Towson Catholic, and I was so glad he decided to become a Hokie. A class act dude for sure. Even though he's got tons of talent, he's kinda the poster boy for perseverance in getting to the NBA, and I'm sure he's not going to let the opportunity slip away. Congratulations Malcolm!

I think that for a longsnapper this is a good thing as he's never done anything so horrifying that we all know his name.
Tech is the dog against Pitt, typo on my part.
That's a steep spread for such a rare neutral site game early in the season. All $100 for hokies to beat the spread. I'd bet early too..it will only shrink as game time approaches.
That's a sure fire loser bet.
Better question is: now that I have bought a house, when is the next split of those Hokie Asian Lilies?

Second, this makes little sense. Has a long snapper ever been drafted? As I understand it, if a player is selected in the supplemental, they would have to give up that pick in the next draft.
Do the Titanic. Thought it was going to be cheese whiz, but it was most impressive. The artifacts are genuine, the stories are quit interesting. It talked about the pets, unusual survivors, construction. The Titanic had a gym & a Turkish bath. You get a passenger card when you start the tour and find out if it was a survivor or not at the end. There's a mock up of deck with the iceberg and the water is maintained at the temperature of the water at the sinking. You can see how long you can keep your hand in it. The end of the tour is a mock up of the excavation and a lot of technical info on the recovery. There's a kids area with the deck at various inclines.
It's worth a visit.

I don't think it's "prestige" per se...I'll put it this way, I don't think many kids in the Bronx dream about playing for CSKA Moscow.

# | Malcolm Delaney Agrees to Two-Year NBA Deal with Atlanta Hawks I've heard that for a good portion of the american guys that are playing in europe that they would gladly take the NBA minimum over the millions they earn in Europe. The main reason being the prestige of saying "I'm an NBA player," but others include being in a country where English is the native language, being closer to home, playing against better competition, etc.
