Whenever you get out towards Winston-Salem, hit up Foothills Brewery, as well as a Dash baseball game. Both are great in the summer. In Greensboro, take a tour of HQ Greensboro, a startup co-working office. It's a cool place with pretty well-connected people.
Futsal. It's a great teacher of intuition and foot skills. Small sided, so everyone gets touches. A lot of touches. Quick steps, playing defense in a small area, recovering to get back, it's a phenomenal teacher.
My son has a kid on his high school team that lives in the neighborhood that grew up in Jamaica. Talk about just fun to watch. Quick feet. Thinks on the fly. Fast. Good touch. All learned from NOT playing in confined system. He and my boys will spend hours outside just kicking it around, trying different tricks and skills, give and gos, trying to hit different spots on the goal. And it shows when they go out and play. Luckily our travel coach gets playing by feel, and lets' them go...to some extent. It's not all about winning with him, its about playing together and getting in front of some college coaches. We've played a few college showcase tournaments this year, a couple with over 100 college coaches in attendance. Having the drive and positive attitude is all that some of the D3 coaches are looking for in a player to fill a gap on their roster. And our coach filled a few of them this past season. He grew up in Bmore and still has a lot of connections, so he's a great asset to the club all around.
I was wondering what might set up Cleganebowl. I kept asking why the Hound would be the champion of the Faith. It really didn't entirely add up to me, but I can see it now. He picked up the axe not to wage war necessarily, but to cut down Brother Ray (McShane's character's name, apparently, so a hybrid of Elder Brother and Septon Meribald) and bury him, then he will go to the High Sparrow to seek justice. HS will work his charm over the Hound just as Cersei chooses violence, and Clegane fulfills the HS's request to fight as champion in the name of the gods' justice.
Seems reasonable. Hope at least one Stark survives. I've never seen one family endure so much.
The ODP program is basically a $5k commitment for the year, and that's just for the privilege of listing that on your "resume". Doesn't include travel (Abroad for 10 days, typically France or England, which is NOT cheap) or any time. They play somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 games stateside, and practice maybe twice a month. It's absurd.
We are lucky enough to be able to travel to tournaments and sleep in our own bed most nights unless they hit us with an 8am game. Still a time commitment, but I'm usually carrying 3 players with me and they'll crash in the car after games anyway. There are some kids in my sons school that can't do the travel thing. The parents schedule doesn't jive with the practice and game schedule. And that's just the time portion.
The showrunners said they expect 13 more episodes of material, likely split over two abbreviated seasons. So it may be 8 seasons, technically, but really it's more like 7+.
The most popular interpretation I've found of Dany's visions is that much of what we see are potential futures that could have happened, or may yet. Drogo may have lived if things had played out differently, the Red Keep may be destroyed or it may not, depending on actions yet to be taken.
Does Game of Thrones end next year or go on for more than seven seasons ? Seems the final confrontations should be forced to happen by then because they will simply run out of good characters and story line. Almost everyone here seems to expect at least three main characters to die next week.

The article talks about two kids specifically, one from Springfield Ohio and one from Boise Idaho. The kid from Springfield even went to a camp for Michigian in Springfield. I'm still waiting for all these positives from these massive camp schedules. I have yet to see an offer go to a kid from a camp yet, have you seen any?
I've just started golf and have played my first two rounds ever this month. What's not to love about being outdoors with some friends, drinking some brewskis and chasing that ball all over gods green earth.
I don't know what my clubs are; I only know they're shiny and were free. Can't wait to play again!

Same here. Had some friends that played at tech and they invited me a couple times to come play. I didn't but regret it now.

Looking at their bowl games over the last 4 years i'd say they are winning the elite games consistently.

Anyone else see the theory that Arya and the Waif are the same person, just two personalities? The idea being that only one will survive. And supported by the fact that (in previous episode) no one seems to notice or care that a blind girl is getting the shit beat out of her on the street. If true, interesting development this week.
I guess the Hound finds his way to the Sparrow next week in prep for Cleganebowl. Really disappointed in McShane's character being so trivial but I remember reading an interview where he said he wouldn't do a repeating character or something like that, and when they said he would be killed off quickly he agreed.
I played there two years ago and actually just got back from a trip down to myrtle last week where we played the moorland course at legends. The course was in great shape. You can spray the ball virtually anywhere off the tee and find it but the greens and areas around them have more slope than most mountain courses. I have also played the heath land course there and it is a fun track and considerably easier than the moorland course. While your down there I would suggest making a trip to a course called rivers edge. It's in great shape and has the most spectacular views. I found myself pulling my camera out to take pictures it was so nice on some of the holes. They have a great afternoon rate as well. I've played lots of courses in the myrtle beach area so feel free to ask about others.
well, that is just not true. Morality changes all the time.
the fact is that rules, laws, morals, ethics are all flexible to change given societal normality. The subject of whether it is moral to NOT pay student athletes is a contemporary moral issue. Are universities taking unfair, and immoral, advantage over these kids? In my view no. But others may say "yes" and in their view paying kids to play is not immoral but the right thing to do, rather the "moral" thing to do.

Can someone explain to me why in the world anyone would ever think Bradley is a good 6???!!! He plays like he did the other night in the 6 spot and we lose 4-0 without the handball PK. Trbl.
