feel good story ends when bran crossing the wall lets the white walkers pass. It's the Night's King's plan all along
As much as I agree with your "Go Redskins" comment, I have to interject some information here. The logo for Wyoming (not just the University, but for everything in the state) is the "Bucking Horse and Rider." It's related to some unrideable horse at the state's annual Rodeo. It's very important to keep all of that in mind, because they take it very seriously (source: dated a girl from Wyoming that went to Grad School at Tech).
Here's some more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bucking_Horse_and_Rider
He was insanely bad. Like Insaid, never went to a HS football game as coach. After the Florida game in 2010 he complained because their bench was longer than ours and had the managers go cut the extra length off. When they were building the new complex he made them move a closet 3 times because he didn't like where it was. He would also continually check for mold in the walls of the brand new facility. He loved everything about being a HC, except the actual coaching part.
I do too, but I'm always concerned with dreamy, feel-good solutions when dealing with GRRM.
This is the first time I have heard it but I liked it. I wish we could adapt it to the present year and the Bristol game.
Wait a skinny New York minnit here, what kinda horse don't like cowboys and cowgirls?
"It's not how you feel, it's how you look...and you look mahvelous!" Saturday Night Live already covered this.
I think benjen comes to brans rescue next episode and gets him to the wall
Am I missing something here?
I think so. Briles didn't just recruit a handful of college athletes that later had run ins with the law when on campus - As I understand it, this is a coach who, when he found out that his athletes had been accused of sexual assault, failed to notify his superiors, pressured victims not to reach out to law enforcement, and circumvented the legal system.
Briles didn't just recruit a couple bad apples - He created an environment where athletes could repeatedly commit violent crimes without any legal repercussions.
Really nice pics. I looked at them a couple of times. Wish I had more than one leg to give for them.
Would add here that I have observed French in action at one of these cobia meetings and he is, in fact, a measured, polite and well informed speaker, cogent and on point, calm in demeanor, confident but respectful to those on the dais. Not to mention that he's a bulldog who won't readily accept losing a fight.
Used to go to Topsail for vacation, didn't do all that well in front of the cottage, but along the inlets can be good for various species that time of year. Flounder, some trout, spot, croaker, whiting, bluefish, and puppy drum as well. Good luck.
It'd be a fun time, and we really should do it just for the heck of it. Agree, though, on the trout fishing. You'd likely beat me, but I wouldn't be using Gulp. I'd either be using flies myownself, or, depending on the water, a Joe's Flies muddler, or a Panther Martin if in a smallish stream, and probably a YoZuri suspending jerkbait or something similar in the bigger water, like the South Holston or the Clinch sized rivers.
Apologize for the late reply, been on a two week camping trip and just got back last night. Trying to catch up and not getting very far very fast. Hope your trip with Mike went well, I'll read down the thread now like I should have before starting this reply. Still worn out from the trip.
His loss too
Are you being serious? Briles was directly involved with allowing this to happen.
How is he the sacrificial lamb? Is there some sort of evidence that coaches of other sports were involved with allowing retaliation against those claiming sexual assault?
/ Has done this before.
Reddit seems to think it'll actually be the Tourney at Harrenhal. Makes sense, so we have some context for R+L before we get to the =J (and maybe M). I was just being cynical, because the show seems to enjoy blueballing the viewers with Bran's visions.
If they did it this way it basically is just a waste of time in the episode. There doesn't seem like there is much to be developed from the point Ned and Howland go into the tower until they finally find Lyanna in a "pool of blood"
They should renew with Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan.
He's in episodes 6 and 10. So this week is probably either a totally different flashback, or will be pretty short and will just show up till he's opening the door and then it'll cut off before anything consequential happens.
Your kidding right? He lead a team of coaches who took active roles in preventing sexual assault victims from getting justice. If you think that's ok then we have nothing more to discuss.
If that is the case then Briles is nothing but the sacrificial lamb.
It is by all means. These rules should be implemented by the university administration and I would imagine to be spearheaded by the AD. Looks like they should fire the soccer and fencing coaches also; or all of them. Am I missing something here?
It's all of their jobs. Coaches should understand the implications of all applicable laws to their job.

That pretty much matches what Levy says in the blog I linked above. He days not that many more storms vs average but many developing g closer to CONS SE coast, gulf, n caribbean.
