The one guy in the back figuratively shooting himself in the head, while they all are drowning in a sea of Mike London tears.

I also think that this has the makings of a trap game for Tennessee... Season opener, quasi-local rival (Boone to Knoxville isn't that far), and a team that went 11-2 last season. Appy State has a history of taking on the biggest names that will bring them (Clemson last year, and they're also playing Miami 'Canes this year, and added Georgia down the road as well). I have no doubt UT and Butch will have visions of Bristol in their head, but any minimizing Appy State is a huge mistake. Just ask Michigan how that works out. I know I'll be rooting for the Mountaineers to give 'em their money's worth.

As said previously, Tom Holland's Spider-Man was perfect. He never shuts up, even during fights, he's always cracking stupid jokes. Also, instead of beating us over the head with the Great Power/Great Responsibility line, summing up what I always felt like was Peter Parker's motivation with the (paraphrasing) "If you can do what I do, when bad people do bad things and you don't stop it, it's your fault." I am unbelievably excited for the Spider-Man movie.

Also, to comment on the Maguire Spider-Man...yes, he reached the pit of terribleness in the Spider-Man 3, but he wasn't great in the first two. Instead of being endearingly awkward (which Holland nailed), Maguire was always kind of creepy awkward. And Kirsten Dunst is just. the. worst. Emma Stone was good as Gwen Stacy, but she died in the comics before I was even born, so I've always been partial to MJ. I have every confidence in Holland to top him easily, and they can really help him by getting a good MJ. And I have absolutely no problems with Marisa Tomei as Aunt May despite it going it against the character from the books because then I get to watch Marisa Tomei.

So if you look at the number of fingers they are holding up, (5 on far left, 5 next to him, 2 on far right) it would appear they are attempting to show off how many straight years they have lost to Tech. Along with #28 showing off a big ol zero bowl wins and I say this is an SOS poster.

Man, these guys just can't count. It's been WAY more than 757 days since UVA beat VT in football. Nearly 6 times more, in fact...

Biyombo is a monster. His performance last night garnered stats that haven't been seen since Wilt's days. Love and Irving most likely won't combine to go 4-28 from the field again, but if Valanciunas can come back for game 4 or game 5, the Raptors could push this to 6 games.

I also think it's less about specific preparation for Fuente's offense (which is still a mystery) but more generally about being well-rested because they anticipate us to be running a faster, spread offense. They want their players to be able to recover from the opener, which itself shouldn't be too intense, but any time you can get an extra 2 days of rest, taking it is smart.

Whelp, then that happened. Raptors managed to snag one.

Heading to Topsail Island, NC the last week in June. Was hoping to do a little surf fishing while down there. Any one have experience in that area and care to share some suggestions?

I remember my Dad always complaining about the poor surf fishing mid-summer on the Outer Banks, but this might have just been a tactic to deter me and my brothers from harassing him to take us each day.

Prepare for what? New coaches, new systems, and they will sit on their hands till Saturday to see what we got. On top of that I bet Fuentes and Co. won't even show their full hand against Liberty. I know this is lining up to Tennessee having an advantage, but I think this works in our favor to scheme earlier against their offense. My 2 cents.
