Maybe I'm late to the party, but midfield seats that are not picked up as season tickets will just be single-game tickets at face value, right? Does anyone actually think those seats will be empty at game time? I sure don't. It was only recently that the very corners stopped selling out.

Then when the product on the field returns to form, the market will rule, and those willing to pay for the seats all year will get them.

Monster is a little generous. He's a serviceable backup center that happened to have a good game. When you're putting your hope in Biyombo and Valanciunas for a push for six games, it ain't good.

To long to be Sandbridge or Oceanfront. To small to be Harrisons, and to much surf to be on the Peninsula???

Had a buddy last year with a 48" on the fly. Then some others 43" 35" and 25". Not sure what they caught them on as far as lures go.

That would be best for Hokies. Period. Metallica has been begged and pleaded with so far and nothing. However they did play and throw opening pitch for SF Giants earlier this month or last. I am curious what it would take to bring them to Blacksburg now. Maybe the circus of Bristol would captivate?

What speaks to me from the interview is the part about the capital campaign. The timeframe of 18-24 months seems a bit coincidental with the big push of the scholarship fund.

The scholarships get paid first, whether we give more money or not. I think the HC is using this as a screen to actually ramp up donations to be used, indirectly, for the big capital improvements Whit talks about.

I realize this kind of goes hand in hand. I understand the need for better facilities as some are in major need and have been left out for a long period of time. I just don't like the angle that Whit and Co are pushing this, as necessary as it may be.
