My friend named his kid Laettner. I guess it's neat since he's a big Duke fan but I think the kid might kinda hate it when he gets older. Same with this.
Nice spot!
I sure hope we don't finish 3rd or 4th. I absolutely love the thrill ride that comes along with the "it's down to VT and some former national champion" scenarios.

If you're not first, you're last.
You mean Raycom?
... one of the few that would be there, if he even went!
Well...there goes my plan, I guess my next kid will have to settle for Fox Sports 1

Yeah, this delay means that instead of finishing 2nd, we'll finish 3rd or 4th.
Not disagreeing, just curious;
Why OT?, I thought we were better at that spot.
I'd rather have a great small guy than an average big guy.
Thanks for the post, I haven't read the books yet (still on my to-do list) so this provides even more background into the rise of the High Sparrow. What I love about this is it mirrors the power-play between the Catholic Church and kings in the Middle Ages, as well as mirrors what we see in the Middle East today.

# | Virginia Tech Stressing Comfort for Fans, Athletes in Slew of Planned Facilities Upgrades If every pro stadium you go to in every major sport sells alcohol, they aren't doing it to lose money. At $8-10/beer, the money adds up pretty quickly I don't think anyone would reasonably claim the costs will outweigh the revenues. As a matter of fact, you could probably get the vendors to pay the costs plus some. You don't think Miller or Bud wouldn't front the expenses to be the only beer being sold at Lane Stadium?
DE, OT, LB, CB, WR would be my order with the first 3 all being critical. WR at least we brought in 3 solid prospects last class and hoping that ladler pans out at corner.
His moves are something else. Seems to have a natural ability with the ball.
Interesting. Should be interesting to see how recruiting shapes up over
the next year.
My sentiments exactly. Our only other true rivals are UVA and Miami. UVA is only fun because its LOLUVA and it's an in-state rivalry; however it lacks the high-level of playing that other in-state rivalries around us have. The Black Diamond Trophy used to be hotly contested and would be the deciding factor of what bowl game we got. A factor of a great program is a great rivalry.

...and now I can only picture Dan Snyder as Mr. Drysdale.
I'd rather have a great small guy than an average big guy. Maybe at some point in the future we can draw the great big guys.
I shall start the burning.

In less depressing, "not bad news about 757 blue chip prospects who we will likely lose to other schools" news, a Bleacher Report guy fired off a tweet (that TKP twitter retweeted) confirming, in his opinion, that current Tech commit Kalil Pimpleton would be higher rated if not for his diminutive stature.
Kalil Pimpleton, VT commit, size is only excuse he's not highly rated. Went out & sliced up DBs & flashed good hands https://t.co/hJ5WXXXbJf— Michael Felder (@InTheBleachers) May 18, 2016
Horse needs a little meditation.

"$100 to park your car nost WVU fans won't show up"
Hmmm...Carpooling

Problem solved. Get ready DC.

It would be completely and utterly bullshit for the ABC to prevent alcohol sales at collegiate venues, Not when they allow it in any stadium that isn't attached to a college campus. Sorry, the ABC is a backwards-assed institution anyways that only makes policy to pad their own wallets, so I don't really have any respect for most of what they do.
People are drunk at games anyway. People gets far too liquored up in the lots prior to the game, and sneak in too much alcohol to the stadium just to carry the buzz through the game. Allow sale of alcohol in the stadium, and studies have shown the amount of overdrinking actually decreases over time. You want to make the stadium safer in regards to alcohol, the way to do it is to legalize the sale of it in the stadium so that you can effectively regulate it.
