2. whatever coach FU has up his sleeve at QB he isn't telling a sole, hard for anyone to get into a rhythm but I did not (and was disappointed) that Lawson seemed to get the least of the reps. (heard a lot of people around me talking about how he was in the dog house don't know if there is any truth to that though certainly hope not)
I couldn't help but notice Lawson got yanked mid-series one possession and replaced by Josh Jackson. No idea what led to that.
Same wide collar you see on a lot of NFL unis...Saints, Broncos, etc.
Blacksburg Bold - It's in the Nike catalog now as a generic font that any school (high school, etc.) can get on their jerseys.
I really liked that jersey font and was hoping we'd go back to something similar or an updated form of that.
True I'm really excited for that scene and I think it happens this season. Also sad side note here, apparently they only have 14 episodes beyond this season and will be splitting it into two seasons of 7

He was burned on the show, too. It's a cool thought, but I don't know if they'll go that direction in trying to convince us he's a Targaryen. It would make the whole Tower of Joy sequence irrelevant because the whole not-burned-by-fire thing would confirm it on its own.

# | Justin Fuente's Offense Sputters in Spring Game, Despite Handful of Bright Spots My $0.02 (and worth every penny):
- The offense was underwhelming. I know it's new, vanilla, etc. But if you run the same base play 10 times, 1-2 will be executed well and pop for a big gain.
- The defense seemed good, but it didn't get the feeling they were being challenged. That said, I thought it was extremely encouraging they didn't give up many/any big plays. How many times last year did we miss one-tackle (ahem -- LBs -- ahem) and they score a 50 yard TD.
- Wish the game had a little more spice. The crowd was dead during the plays. I like the O vs D format (so much better than watching paint dry when they split them up). How about next year, we assign the crowd a quarter...1st quarter we cheer for D (with the noise to go along with it), 2nd O, 3rd D, and 4th O?
More than 30,000, Lane seats 66,233 it was more than half full.
Haha I received the same phone calls and invitations in the mail to buy tickets this year after buying tickets through their website. I almost feel sorry for the girl that was unlucky enough to have my number on her call list.
Yes, there was something about the blood.

They might have reported 44,000 for the spring game, I think the total was closer to 30,000. West stands were full, the east stands were 1/3 full, the north almost empty, and the south lower was 80%. South upper was empty.
true but we have discussed the differences between the show and the book numerous times. I feel like something like that is going to happen, something along those lines. I feel like the love of fire from the red lady and the obviousness that is Jon's birth parents are going to intertwine somehow
Where is the anthracite Whit referenced?
Why the nuevo numbers and helmet stripes with an old-school design?
Why the nuevo font on some of the uniform (not the name on back)? Also, shouldn't we go "all-in" and paint the field with the font (endzone, numbers, etc.)?
This whole thing just seems weird and inconsistent.

# | Justin Fuente's Offense Sputters in Spring Game, Despite Handful of Bright Spots I know why the offense wasn't as good as many had hoped. They offense was wearing ALL ORANGE. They were doomed before they set foot on the field.
I could have just been seeing things but I thought the blood stains when the moved his body were almost wing shaped. Jon's definitely a Targaryan in my book
