I don't know what to expect next season, but it has a very high ceiling.
So a normal day in the life of the UVA football program?
The glamor magic of Melisandre didn't have much of an impact on me, she's a witch so she does witch things.
What bothered me was that she just seemingly gave up on Jon so quickly. "I saw him in the flames at Winterfell....." like it was "oh well, I'm wrong all the time now." Added to this that Van Houton has said in interviews leading up to this season that Melisandre was as low as ever, her confidence is shaken/broken. My thought was that Mel was crawling into bed with her glamor down so she could die. So maybe they aren't bringing Jon back.
But, if they aren't bringing Jon back, then you would think his close friends in that room would have followed his orders to burn him before sundown. And if you're killing off Jon, why do the Tower scene this year? If you're not going to let Mel bring him back, then why have her interact with Thoros and Beric with the Bros w/out Banners in Season (3?)? All signs point to Mel bringing Jon back, so I guess this was one big deke?

# | Another ESPN Analyst recognizing the potential Buzz and Company have next season It's been amazing to see on Twitter all these transfers that have VT as a possible destination. Even if none of them come, the fact that they are thinking about us is testament to Buzz and his effect on the program.
Was reading some recaps on the Nike camp in Charlotte this weekend and Crosby indicated he's still planning on taking all of his visits. Seems like this isn't a set in stone commitment - but really, what commitment to Tenn is until you actually sign the papers?
Another VTU. I am getting tired of it.
1) Number font is atrocious.
2) no trim looks cheap
3) Stripe thickness change is awful.

I made the trip with some friends from Richmond. A few things that stood out:
- Two players were in the opposite end zone the entire practice army crawling on their stomachs, and backs, from sideline to sideline.
- The offense and defense had to line up in formation on the sideline, get set, and then sprint out to the field every time they went on.
- No one in the stands could tell who was who without numbers. "They have to earn their numbers" - Bronco
- Fans were already skeptical about Bronco's weird ideas.
- Ex-Arizona, Ex-Texas backup QB Connor Brewer can't see over his own line.
- If you drew a flag, you did up-downs.
- The kicker and punter were both terrible.
1. Really like the stripes on the maroon lid.
2. Don't care for the number font.
3. Hate the tricolor and orange lid.
my take aways from the spring game....
1. enter sandman at a spring game was pretty live considering a) it was the spring game b) stadium only 3/4th filled c) our opponent was ourselves. had to be nice for the recruits to see what we are capable of. I was really happy with it and honestly kind of surprised by how loud it was I know its our thing but I guess my expectations were lowed because of the situation.
2. whatever coach FU has up his sleeve at QB he isn't telling a sole, hard for anyone to get into a rhythm but I did not (and was disappointed) that Lawson seemed to get the least of the reps. (heard a lot of people around me talking about how he was in the dog house don't know if there is any truth to that though certainly hope not)
3. QBs in yellow was a bit disappointing considering we depend on them to run the football in this offense but again maybe that's just coach holding his cards close since its really the first open open practice we have had. I think the whistle on some of the QB runs and even the sacks was little ehhh to touchy for me like there was no way the defender was going to actually make the tackle they just ran by and stuck a finger out and to go along with it the whistles on QB sacks and runs seemed to come late like the QB had already made the man miss and was on his way to the next one when the whistle blew.
4. punt game looked AWFUL and that was without anyone else on the field. field goal unit not much better although slye hit a 54 yarder with ease he missed to easier kicks.
5. WR has a TON of potential. not sure if they will break out this year but they will be able to make plays but we are going to have to take the good with the bad. agree with everyone that the paper boy (CJ Carroll) needs to get on the field this year hes small as can be but had nice hands made a move and got down to avoid getting hit. I think he will get some reps and im excited to see what he can do.
6. saw teller get whipped a couple times by barron. made me sad and happy all at once. I think woody is going to have a steller year DT is going to be nasty for us this year. DEs played well too like what I saw from them specially gaines.
7. and this isn't football related but good god tremaine Edwards looks like a beast amongst boys out there. dude is taller than bucky and that's tall.
I think a lot of people were disappointed with the offense in todays game maybe we expected the same one as from the bowl game lol but I saw a lot of potential for big plays that were missed today either by QB or WR just being a few steps off and I think that will be cleaned up with ford and Phillips and a QB that isn't subbing out every drive for 4 other guys.
now for the off season, ughhhh...... countdown is back on.

# | Justin Fuente's Offense Sputters in Spring Game, Despite Handful of Bright Spots I can't say for sure if they will see meaningful snaps, but my guess is that Deablo, Carroll, and Bradshaw will see the field.
If so, why didn't they last year?
Most likely some combination of them not being ready and Loeffler not using as many wr's. But with Fuente we know he prefers to have many different receiving options. It is certain that more wr's will see action this year than last year, but the specifics of who makes it on the field and in what capacity is still "wait and see."
get used to it. not worth your time and energy complaining about it every time...
