what's your definition of hyped up? If this decision is considered hyped-up, then virtually all 4-star and several 3-star recruits VT has landed would be here. If you're looking national level, well, then it would Kendall.
If hyped up is construed as several marquee schools have offered and a televised signing, Hooker would have been the last, probably. Evans before that.
In one of the FB ACC sports groups I'm a member of, the conversation is the same.
They must have students memorize that excuse as a condition of graduation.

As a closer to recruits/current players age, 23 year old, I can assure everyone that that 73% is very true and I would have guessed even higher. Nike is top of the line, Under Armour has developed a second rate stigma and Adidas is very love/hate. But very seriously, Nike is far and away the preferred brand of apparel and athletic wear.
North was nearly full if you ask me. Agreed on West and South, but East I'd say was closer to half.

# | 2016 VT Spring Game attendance vs 2015 UVA football attendance So.... the only 2 games UVa didn't have more fans in Scott during the regular season last year than we had in our Spring Game this past weekend were the 2 games against schools with traveling fanbases?
Yeah, remind me why anyone chooses to play football there, again?
The football uniforms may be a little meh, but IMO, the need of having consistent colors and font across sports far outweighs the dislike of details on the football uniforms. The biggest problem got fixed - that's a win for us.
Also - anyone who thinks that switching FROM Nike is a good idea is off their rocker. 73% of recruits favor Nike.

# | OT: Review finds it "more probable than not" Pats intentionally deflated footballs I think the decision makes sense, HOWEVER....I think Goodell's inability to execute justice in a fair, consistent manner will make the next CBA a nightmare. The NFLPA cannot be happy about what they signed up for in the last CBA and I think we may even see a lockout in the next round.
