You can't make this stuff up.
Spent an entire season as Beamers direct equipment manager and besides the basic pre and post game speeches he spent a ton of time watching from the tower. Always hands on and vocal during Special teams drills, and middle drill. For the most part he let his coaches coach and spoke up when needed.

I can only confirm that yes it is a cannon! I'm asking my "Skipper Crew" friends waiting for a response. BTW my dad was the Senior on Duty (in the corps) that night they blew the cannon and he had to wake up the Commandant of Cadets. He says there are still pieces of the old cannon still lodged in Slusher to this day. They were short of collecting all the pieces.
