Whereas Fuente is more like a co-offensive coordinator/QB coach with Cornelson. It's similar except Beamer was that way with special teams.
I mean, would anyone disagree with Ruffin becoming a Hokie coach when LOLUVA crashes and burns again? I don't know what he specializes in but I'd love to have that guy on staff. I'm sure we'll lose some good assistants in the next few years as we accelerate into the national conversation.
That's be pretty cool. Appalachian league runs June-August, so it would be a great addition to Blacksburg's summer entertainment options.

Hated to hear Clemson was his team growing up. Plus he's definitely looking anywhere and everywhere. West Coast, ND, and who knows who else will come into the picture during the next 7 months.

For serious, can we send Mama Fuller the edible arrangement to end all edible arrangements now without a violation?
Can't beat the New River for variety of species and in some cases trophy potential. Trout fishing offers great opportunities as well. New River public access as well as the trout fishing information are both available on the VDGIF website. I'll respond later with more information when I'm not on my phone...
Until we establish a season ticket waiting list-- and maintain that as the norm for at least 4 straight years-- there's really no reason to even think about increasing seating. I've been a season ticketholder since 2003, and I only recall two games where tickets were selling over face value (Miami 2005 & OSU 2015). Other than that, you've always been able to find tickets at face value or less. Of course, when ticket supply > demand, that works against the Hokie Club since seating priority is one of the main perks. In the mid-2000s, if you wanted to become a new season ticketholder, you needed to be at least a Silver Hokie ($1000 donation) to have a chance at tickets. These days, anyone can buy individual game tickets without donating at all.
I'd like to know this as well. I've actually never used braid, but have no good reason why not. How does it perform in under water visibility? Fluorocarbon (sp?) practically disappears so I use it a lot for finesse applications (mainly as tippet material for fly fishing) but for most of my river fishing it isn't an issue.
I enjoy seeing in that crowd, some hoos are quicker to react than others

Interesting you mention that. It appears from the latest mic'd up video of Coach Fuente that we saw #11 DE Houshun Gaines dropping back into coverage during a drill. We definitely have a lot more size at the DE spots collectively than we have had for some time, and I noticed that the roster doesn't have an OLB position listed currently, which usually is the whip. Combine that with the fact that Foster has alluded to some more zone concepts being blended in this year, the size and depth we have at DT, and he has two defensive assistants who both have DC experience in the 3-4, and we could possibly see some interesting new wrinkles in Bud's defense this year.
