This, ladies and gentlemen, is why I'm in favor of mandatory boat operator courses. He should've been held liable for every passenger's medical expenses. If you're going to be that stupid out on the water (or anywhere, really) you deserve to be held responsible for the consequences of your stupidity. And no, citations for speeding and imprudent operation are NOT being held responsible.
The driver of the boat, Marvin Carter, III of Memphis, TN suffered moderate injuries and a blow to his wallet as well. He's being cited for speeding and imprudent operation of the boat. Five of the seven people on board were hospitalized, four of them with moderate injuries including broken bones
better in the sense, the series will competive. I haven't watched Eastern conf playoffs since heat/Boston 4 yrs ago. this is progress. 6-8 in the west are butts too.
The one where he started to run downfield and dumped off the ball right as he almost got sawed in half?
The quintessential example.
It's 5 o'clock where I am, so not for me!

Sweet, a new QB! *ducks*
All kidding aside it is nice to see us expanding our recruiting areas and going after new talent, you have to recruit the whole country if you want to compete!
I still cringe thinking of the hit Brewer took on the run in the UVA game. I thought he was done there.
Yea, but is he focused on any particular unit or position?
It's a little early to be having a drink isn't it?

As a graduating senior considering moving to Colorado, this makes me happy.
This is an exciting time for us Tech fans. Year after year I have watched the boards and read the recruiting news after visits and always got my hopes up but then the cb's of death would emerg and the commit would go the other way. As much as loved FB it just feels like now the new staff are recruiting circles around the old. On the Nebraska boards they were 100% sure he was going there and now their deflated like we have been for years. Suck it huskers.
Right - and a lot of that had a lot to do w Brewer not taking care of himself.
Dude was a gamer, but his heart wrote checks his body was never going to be able to cash.
The bottom of the East is better than the bottom of the West by far this year. Granted, the top of the West is miles better than the top of the East, but there is still a lot stiffer competition for LeBron this year than in past years.
But yeah, the Western Conference Championship will almost definitely be the NBA Championship this year unless something drastic changes.
The pain from just watching that makes me want to run to the emergency room.
glad the East is finally better
Were we watching the same NBA. Cleveland wouldn't make it out of the 2 round of the West. I mean yea they are "better" but from dumpster fire, to smelly trash.
Eh, I'm a Miami fan but I still think this is a 6 or 7 game series. Doubt the Heat can shoot like that again (although they have shot much better since the Joe Johnson acquisition and Josh Richardson breaking through) and other than Batum, everybody on the Hornets had an off game. I don't think the Heat will have an answer for Batum the rest of the series but the Hornets won't have an answer for Whiteside and possibly Deng either. Should be a fun rest of the series.
Great interviews. We may not have a rivalry on the field, but it looks like we are running into one in recruiting against Tennessee.. Really hope we embarrass them in Bristol.
Thought the exact same when I watched.
Just read your link, thanks for that. Five out of seven hospitalized, broken bones, etc. Nothing hilarious about it.
It really seemed like Hunter's eyes lit up and voice perked up when he talked about VT. They way he described VT was more like talking about what will happen, and not what could happen.
I'm over the Warriors, I would much rather watch Lebron win in Cleveland, which would be unlike anything anyone else has done, than the Warriors win another championship highlighting how soft the NBA has become as everyone just sits around and lets them shoot open threes all game.
Brewer got killed out of the pocket too.
I love Kemba Walker, I hope they turn it around and pull out the series.

There's supposed to be a /s in here, right?
The reason they get open shots is because they are completely unselfish and move the ball better than anyone else - during the regular season they averaged 28.9 assists per game, which is 3.3 more than the next closest team.
