Yeah, there are some people there with serious injuries.
I blame the guy driving the boat. At that speed, life jackets are a must. you can drive fast but, you need to be prepared. If you are going to show off, you need the skills to back it up.

Nah, Houston blew out Sacramento earlier in the evening, Jazz blew it when they lost their game before

Yeah...can't say that I haven't done tamer versions of that, but it still cracks me up. The guy at the helm, though he sees what's coming, goes down like a sack of potatoes...the guys in the way back do double head butts on the rail...

The good thing though, as I watched it this time, is that it looks like the guy yanked back on two of the throttles just before going airborne. That may well have saved some lives...maybe, maybe not.

Wouldn't Utah have been the 8 seed if they would've won that game?

Side trip: this is the long term goal. Get new Hokie Clubs started where there are large alumni groups. However until recently these two groups didn't talk or share information. The first step is to get your local Hokie's to join the Hokie Club on there own. You need a decent amount of members willing to donate time and money to form a local club. Good luck.

glad the East is finally better, I can watch the early games this yr. that said, I don't care about the first round matchups. get back to me in 2 weeks when it really heats up.

So I was all excited to watch the Hornets game yesterday and well, let's just say things didn't go well for Buzz City.

I never had any problems with Ruff. Guy was coaching for his alma mater and was let go with no explanation after his first losing season. Just because he was an opposing coach for a team I don't like doesn't mean I dislike him as a person.

In response to your question, he's an "assistant head coach" at LOLUVA.

Take 50 shots to get to 60 points against a team who already knew they were out of the playoffs. Yea I used to be a Kobe fan but his selfishness destroyed my beloved Lakers. So when it comes to him

As for the playoffs, the only rounds that start to matter is the conference finals. Everything else is a extended pregame show.

When at tech I had a friend who was into boats with oversize motors, he liked to keep the top half of the prop dry. Think "massaged" 300hp outboard on a light runabout. I went out with him once, but declined after that. That same season he flipped the boat with a bunch of people on board.

He never understood why I wouldn't go with him when he upgraded to a "really fast boat".

I'd say in our favor with Baron graduating as the speed dt. UT racked up some serious DT talent the last couple recruiting classes. At his talent level he could definitely get minutes freshman year if he comes in fit

As someone who has spent an absurd amount of time on the water, that gif isn't the least bit funny to me. It is the stuff my nightmares are made of. The joke, however, I get. This article is a good one, but I shed no tears for Ruff. I hope he sinks in the quagmire he now finds himself in, and look forward to rocking his boat every fall before he deserts the sinking ship of lol-hooville.

Edit: Meant as reply to AhChuckit.

Here's hoping my Raptors decide to stop choking and finally advance past the first round!

I am heading to Indy for Game 3 on Thursday, got a ticket two rows behind the Toronto bench. #WeTheNorth

Per Tennessee's roster (http://www.utsports.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/tenn-m-footbl-mtt.html):

14 DL, of these 3 r-Sr so guaranteed to be gone, 1 r-Jr, and the rest are Fr/So. Two r-So that could be eligible to leave early if they're good enough.

They don't list DT/DE separately and I don't know their roster well enough to know where they play, so that's the best I've got.

For VT, 7 DT listed, plus 2 more as DL (Mihota can do both DT/DE, as we're seeing). Baron and Williams are gone after this year. Settle, Sobczak, and Walker are the heirs apparent at DT, with Mihota mixing in.

So...push? VT depth chart looks a bit more promising, but without a Tennessee breakdown of DT vs. DE it's hard for me to say. And who knows what the coaches at each school have told him about his likelihood of playing (that's what really matters). Crosby is a top prospect; I imagine he could push for playing time at either school.

Crosby on one of the biggest factors on making his decision: "It's going to come down to the depth chart".

I'm not sure what UT's DT depth chart looks like but who has the advantage here? VT or Tennessee?
