But the thing with not moving our DBs around is that there's more continuity at one spot. As a result Foster is able to play more zone and disguise his coverage easier, and also do more complex blitz schemes. So though you see them struggling, it's not indicative of how but we are in the backfield as it's hard to do straight man schemes all the time like we did last year.
Further, the more zone you play, the easier it is for the Dline to get a good rush, since the burden isn't purely on either the DBs or the DLs to make a play - it's more symbiotic like you'd hope it would be. So while I agree i'm not expecting a massive turn-around, I do think we'll do much better than this past year.
BBQ slathered in sweet baby rays and mashed potatoes from Blue Ridge BBQ was my jam....Rib Eye sammies from JP's was pretty baller as well.
I don't blame the Bills here. Look, I'm a Hokie fan first but my Niners gave Kaepernick a pretty big contract after his breakout year in SF and are now stuck with a player that is arguably overpaid for a season that he went bonkers because there wasn't a significant amount of game film on him and what his weaknesses are. Kaep like Vick had/has a favortie side he like to roll out to and teams got hip to roll coverage to that side.
Do I think Tyrod is a NFL starter...yes. Do I think he is a perennial pro bowler? Jury is still out. The Patriots made him look silly last year and I think a lot of teams are going to disect that film this offseason on how to stop or at least disrupt him. That was an abysmal game for him.
I also saw him single-handedly beat the Titans here in Nashville last season too.
I'd want to see one more year of what he could do as well if I was the GM before giving him the huge contract I'm sure his agent is pushing for.
It's also a possibility that he was asked to come back at another time because the kid got in trouble. I know that at some high schools near where I live, they don't allow a kid to talk to a coach if he/she were in in-school suspension for a day or something along those lines. They would politely ask the coach to come back at a later time or to talk to them once the school day is over.
I understand LOLUVA has a new program for building character and changing attitude so they can recruit players like this.
I think it is a polygon.
i'll never forget the stromboli gut bombs on wednesday nights at Shultz. it made a mean poop.
I have a Tyrod Ravens Jersey....it might be making a come back week 1 when he plays in Baltimore (assuming the trade doesn't happen)
What I'm saying is that Corey Moore has "attitude", not "bad attitude". Those aren't the same thing. He tells it like it is.
Janitors don't like people who aren't nice to "the little people", so they could be a fairly good judge of character.
I see Burden's point, and I'm guessing he does his homework, so it probably wasn't just the janitor's opinion -- that's just the point he was trying to make.
This probably never happened it's just an illustration to make a point
Or Matt Damon...to be a genius, he was a damn trainwreck of a human.
Did you guys subsequently get hired to write C++ code?.....
This! There is no way this tweet on its own is an indication that coach Burden (or any coach) uses such a small sample size to make that determination.

I was at game 1 for caps/flyer, man that was great defense from the caps. I also knew we were going to get PP's after flyers racked up 4 in a row

Better than Cutler

However, if the team wants to release a video of JUST plays where the DBs are shutting down the receivers, I'm OK with that. I can never get enough D-Block lock down.
Mr. McClatchy spent an hour and a half during his police shift at the police station "editing" his blog post."
1.5 hours for 1 post - we get entire sub-threads on starting punt returners, fisheries policy, and snapchat instructions in that amount of time. I'm betting he still messed a "your" for a "you're" in that post somewhere
I came here for the #hottakes, wasn't disappointed. I don't even know if the tweet is a true story or if Burden is just reminding recruits at Virginia Tech we want guys with character in addition to athletic ability. He knew the tweet would get visibility.
nope. this is too subjective to be true
anyone can take issue with anyone else for any reason. logic fail
Of course, I don't know if Corey's janitor actual took issue with him. Just saying that basing a recruiting decision solely on that is not prudent, but I doubt Burden did that either.
Idk, I get the sense that this was a kid the staff was on the fence about, and so it was easy to decide he wasn't worth the trouble
I don't know... What about that janitor in "Breakfast Club"? He seemed to have his shit together. I'd trust his opinion.
This is not false.

....I'd rather have a beer.
