To all the students in this thread that plan on attending the practice and said they'd share their thoughts, even though the media will be in attendance, I strongly encourage you to still share. Feel free to create your own thread and drop any thoughts, observations, photos, etc... you have.

I lived there for almost 7 years, but I turned to the dark side and moved to NoVA. Still really like going up there still. The Wire is an amazing show. I wonder if any younger kids watch it, confused by the payphone use?

There are food trucks that have Big Green Eggs inside for all of their cooking. Food trucks are getting huge as the cost of having an actual restaurant rises. They can basically always have business by moving to different areas at different times, never relying on peak times at their restaurant on peak days.

Cleveland of all places have 1 or 2 excellent food trucks. I believe Dim and Dem Sum won first or second on that food truck competition on food network.

I would show off how well I know this skit! Honestly, this HBO stand-up was one of the few times ever I fell on the floor laughing so hard. RIP Robin Williams.

"Then there is a flat green where the hole is at and I will put a flag there just to give you f**king hope, then I put trees, bushes, and high grass to f**k with your ball again! Hahahaaaa"

if the pass rush isn't drastically improved it will be more of a continuation of last year's defense.

But for the most part, Fuente has a different job than Mendenhall. Virginia Tech has gone to 23 straight bowl games; Virginia has no current players who have ever gone to the postseason, ever beat Virginia Tech, ever held the Commonwealth Cup (original not diet), ever seen a fan at a spring game, ever not require photoshop to sellout their stadium except when Hokies fill it whilst visiting LaneNorth, ever not get their ass whooped by Beamerball, ever be able to live down "38-0 bro", ever deny any VT pussytouchdowns, ever not be known as loluva, ever be able to best James Gayle at social media.

fixed it

Realize it's personal preference, but I prefer the even year schedules over odd years since we get our 3 biggest ACC rivals at home (UVA, Miami, GT). Even though none of them are coming off a good season, I still look forward to playing those teams over Pitt, Duke, or UNC. It's unfortunate there's no marquee home game this season, but then again, the big OOC home games only come along every ~4 years, and Clemson and FSU are each only going to roll into Lane once every 12 years. I should probably also add a disclaimer that seeing my college friends is just as much or more of my reason for going to the games as the actual opponent any given week.

+1 on looking forward to road trips to Bristol and South Bend. (And Syracuse for that matter... I never made it while we were in the Big East and still need to cross the Carrier Dome off my list).

I don't think you will be waiting much longer for your email that contains your seat selection time. I looked through my email archives to confirm the dates the last 3 years, and the emails came on 4/15/13, 4/16/14, and 4/27/15. That said, based on the HC priority you mentioned above, I would wager your seat selection time will be in late May or early June. Parking selection occurs at the same time as seat selection.
