Town? I'm not so sure but Athens is definitely the best college bar

This quote should be printed in every ad: 'Wasn't as bad as people made it out to be!'

Crazy poll. After midnight, I was able to keep hitting Return to Poll and VOTE even tho it said it was closed. So I used the theory not to trust their message and kept voting until they locked me out. So I'm not sure they counted but I just took the chance. Figured I'd go until I got tired, but then I got the cooling off period message around 12:30. I hope my 30 minutes were productive and my votes were counted.!

We'll see if HokieNation rose to the occasion to make it to the finals!
We'll have to up our game big time to beat Oxford.
If you watched 2 rounds back, Clemson was down 20+points with just a couple days left. I'm guessing they did something as the next round everyone had to enter the capta code..
I hope they go back to showing the poll numbers if we WIN!
If we didn't, something is wrong because I still feel we had a decent lead the way Athens started tweeting around 5:00.
We did our part and I know some Facebook groups did as well!
Go Hokies!

Hazing in general is stupid. The whole idea is that by going through a challenge together, the participants will become closer. Psychologically it works. The caveat is that the hazers are putting someone through trauma, be it physical or mental to achieve this result. Don't get me wrong some degree of "hazing" is alright in my books. Getting yelled at, having to be a waiter, having to do physical activity (pushups and such) all OK. But the moment you physically touch or force someone to ingest something you've crossed a big line. When you go to these lengths you start to lose the entire reason the "hazing" occurs in the first place. Especially on a sports team when the athletes are there to support each other, creating an us against you atmosphere between upperclassmen and freshmen is so counter-intuitive that this degree of hazing makes no sense. Personally for how far this went, those five would still be in court if it happened to me.

Jeff King attended Boys State at Liberty the same year as me. I had the pleasure of guarding him during the basketball tournament they set up between all the cities. He was nice enough to take it easy on me. He was already huge going into his senior year of high school. I didn't know him, but the scuttlebutt was he had committed to Tech to play football. Naturally, he was selected as the sherif for his city. Good old Boys State, one of the longest weeks of my life!

In regards to Devin Wilson playing wide receiver: I wonder if he was specifically sought out by Fuente or Wiggins after observing his athleticism in basketball and hearing about his wide receiver days in high school. It's no secret that wide receiver depth is going to be hard to come by this fall, and if the coaches plan on redshirting any true freshmen, we are going to need more capable bodies.

This also brings back memories to Jeff King playing football and basketball back in the 2004-05 season. I will never forget the Duke game when we upset them 67-65. He dove for a ball that set up a Carlos Dixon 3 and he had that beautiful post move that sent Sheldon Williams in a circle and finished the hook shot.

I regret that I have but one leg to give for my contry....because that made me literally laugh out loud. Seriously, would you tackle Tim Settle if he had a head of steam??
