Why is that? We are a top half ACC team and pretty much every team above us is going to the big dance. We will have a shot at a 19 or 20 win season in the ACC tourney. I think that is worthy of the junior high dance

We got a few good bounces but overall we just out played them. We had more energy from the start and it carried through the whole game.
Very glad to see the students packed in there too
At least they have Ice Hockey (though that's played in the Hockey East, along with Notre Dame).

I'm about the last person on earth qualified to talk basketball (never played for a team also I never put together brackets), but hats off to Buzz and this team. Buzz has really made something special in Blacksburg. I've talked with VMI alums who grew up with a strong dislike for VT because of the old rivalry days. After they saw his video on respecting the National Anthem, they have begun to pull for the Hokies because of our coach.

Put on my thirty plus year old maroon shirt, veteran of two Sugar Bowls, no less, and donned my late father in law's VT hat we gave him twenty years ago.
I think it worked!!
