# | Hokies' Locker Room Celebration after 77-62 Win Over Miami Was Live Somebody in the AD got a picture of myself and two guys in my dorm hallway (who would later become my fraternity brothers) with HOKIES painted on our chests at the first ACC conf game (Wake Forest and Chris Paul, I believe) and put us as the background behind Coleman Collins (dunking) and Zabian Dowdell and Jamon Gordon when Seth Greenberg had the locker room redone. There was a maroon leather couch underneath it with a VT and Hokies stitched into it. We didn't know about until a friend of mine noticed it in the background of a Deron Washington interview picture following a game in '07. Seth had a GA let us into he locker room to take some pictures, which I am still proud of today. Anyone know who I could reach out to in the event this might be torn down in the new Merryman updates?

IIRC, hasn't mitchell been a corner-specific coach before? and from a few things i have read on this site and other places it seems that the corners in some of his jobs worked very similar to the defense that bud runs (ie put them on an island, certain leverage, etc.); i think what likely happened was that torrian gray leaves, they're comfortable with scott taking safeties, and they find a well qualified candidate like mitchell who just happens to want to leave (rumors of holgorsen's unrest), to coach cbs...this is more just drunken/BUZZed piecing things together than anything else

This win is way more than a better alternative than losing. Most of our wins qualify as such as well. We have been steadily improving and tonight is the validation Buzz and the players have earned.

Yes there have been celebratory beverages.
Great footage. Normally, wins don't feel all that good to me. They're just a better alternative to losing, which obviously suck. But this win feels great. And this celebratory Buffalo Trace tastes delicious tonight. I'm having several drinks in celebration of the Hokies and I couldn't be happier. What a season. And we're not done yet. Go Buzz and go Hokies
If you go to Buzz's website there are videos of him participating in the off season workouts along with the rest of the team. They're pretty awesome.

This has to lock us into the NIT, but I still think we need to win the ACC tourney to make the big dance. I would like to see us get a home game for the NITs though, so need to get the win in our first tourney game and hopefully a second or a really close loss.
