Egbert - Just want to update you since the keg line cleaning experiment: Just threw the next keg on the line tonight, and after intense cleaning per your recommendation, absolutely fresh beer being poured (wish it were something better - had to settle for the last keg of Yuengling left at Kroger ((last minute ideas end up with last minute beer)). Regardless, I'm noticing no off flavors at all. I really think those neoprene washers were the biggest culprits. But just as you advised, and applicable to other kegerator TKPers, cleaning your lines is imperative. I used fragrance-free OxiClean as my cleaner, and it absolutely worked wonders. Read a lot on homebrewer forums about how it's a solid cleaner.

Thanks for your help, and I need to get up to the Railhouse sooner rather than later.

I joined as a Bronze Hokie this year so I am one of the 400 new members this year. I think if Fuente can get 9 wins this year, I bet you see the membership numbers jump. That is one reason I decided to join this year. But one negative about 2017 is the home schedule is atrocious outside of Clemson.

Hordes of fans of HBO's "Game of Thrones" will occupy Roanoke this weekend for a chance to meet the show's creator, best-selling fantasy novelist George R.R. Martin.
Martin is the guest of honor at MystiCon, the Roanoke science fiction convention that takes place Friday through Sunday at the Holiday Inn Tanglewood in Roanoke. Martin's multi-million-selling series "A Song of Ice and Fire," a grim and gritty epic fantasy, forms the basis of the smash hit HBO show.

I'm in SC and got it today, I've never seen this info online except what people have posted on sites like this.

As I am not in Virginia and may not get my mailer for a few days, anyone found this list online?

Said this on the other thread but Texas A&M has no TEs on scholarship and has a Corps program. He could be their number 1 guy if he heads there.

This disappoints me on a different level because he's walking away from his commitment to the Corps of Cadets.

I found it curious that he wasn't in any of the pictures from Fuente's meeting with the Corps yesterday. Now this news. Perhaps I am reading too much into a couple photos.

I would have thought Fuente's offense would suit him well. He is more of a receiver than blocking TE.

Okay, this is my last comment on this thread as I seem to not be delivering my point at all. I am not saying that there will not be injuries. What I was attempting to do with my original comment was convert our excitement over a new strength coach to knowledge about what a strength coach does besides makes our players bigger and stronger. Injury prevention is an awesome thing that comes around from proper strength training. I realize players go faster, they hit harder, padding and protection gets smaller. I am not addressing those at all. I am simply hoping all of our Hokies stay healthy with this new S&C trainer who seems to know his shit and has some great support.

I take my leave.

One thought about Jon's role after Melisandre resurrects him. Here is the oath of the Night's Watch:

Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

Note the second sentence. "It shall not end until my death." Well, Jon's dead now, so technically his oath to the Night's Watch is fulfilled, and he can lead a group to Winterfell as his own man, vice as the Night's Watch. Read this somewhere, and thought it would be an interesting twist.

That is one of the conundrums this team faces. It not like men's basketball where there is a ton of talent to get, most of the top talent goes to the top programs. Look at Duke and UNC, they are usually solid programs, but are having mediocre years. Considering where Dennis started with this team, they have come a long way. Dennis is a great guy and a pretty good coach, I've just always said he would be better as a men's coach.

As far as players on this team leaving, I'm not sure who or if any of them would leave. They certainly wouldn't transition to walk-on (See Larryqua Hall for this example). Nahodil is going to be a senior so I doubt she would leave considering she hasn't yet and is friends with everyone on the team. I don't see Croker leaving, but she could if she wants to be closer to home or something. Camp is maybe another, but I think she knows her role on the team and is content with it.
