Bowser and DK had little helicopter style things that could save you. Ganon was a little tougher but he did have that mid air half jump

Read recently an article on Buzz (I think it was an old Washington Post article from last year around ACCT time) with a quote talking about how Buzz no longer defines success by money, that he used to, but doesn't anymore and that he and his family lives only on 500k of his salary. That's not to say that money wouldn't be a strong pull away, but I don't think he'd make a strictly financial decision.

Absolutely no #sauces here, but I think Buzz is in for the long haul. He wanted a challenge. He challenges the status quo. The status quo at Marquette wasn't moving and had maxed out at solid top 20 program that might have an Elite 8 or Final Four run possibility.

He sees VT. The cellar dweller of the ACC. A rebuilding project. Maybe he sees it, can build his brand here, turn VT into that top 20 program. That's a 5-8 year build with the status quo always changing in the best league in America.

Again...no #sauces but my personal theory.

Holy Shnikes. The pure density of dorkdom expressed here - from OP to this very moment - is utterly staggering.

And very reassuring. #thisishome

Thanks for the analysis. I agree with you on all points except Devin Wilson. If you are awarding him this title because he is a junior, then you are correct. But aside from him being a junior, I don't see where he has that floor general ability. He is reluntant to take shot, he has turned the ball over numerous times down the stretch at critical times and offensely it is like playing with 4 guys. He is an OK defender and rebounder but if I am going to have to give up all offensive abilities then I am going to play a big who can play defense and rebound. My floor general is Robinson. He distributes, drives to the hoop, not afraid to take the shot and is certainly not a liability on the offense. JMHO

They're 264 in KenPom, which is pretty awful. However, Rutgers is 301. At least we're not the B1G and added Rutgers.

Are you looking to post anything regarding what you found with CJF's offensive game planning. Have heard the 'offensive mastermind', 'QB whisperer' comments, but am hoping to see what is behind it.

Donlon is now 4-6 shooting and 2-2 at the line for 10 points and 4 rebounds in 7 minutes. That's damn efficient.

We would definitely be on the bubble, but we have been left out in past years with a much better resume. As mentioned above, I think it would definitely depend on some other bubble teams fading away.

Shout out to the guy in the front putting his fist up before the shot left Donlon's hand, Steph Curry style.

That's the funny thing about actors, they think all of their success is because of themselves. It may not be the writers choice to kill Daryl if he no longer wants to be Daryl.

Yea I don't think there was much chance of him playing. With his rehab he wouldn't be ready until mid season the earliest, unless we lose 2/3 of the Mc's and Reid still isn't ready to go he should try to get another medical waiver

Miami made it to the ACC tourney semifinals in 2010 and went to the NIT afterwards.

VT made it to the ACC tourney semifinals in 2011 and went to the NIT afterwards

Maryland in 2013, ACC tourney semifinals, then NIT

I think he should be shut down this season to ensure that he completely heals.

McMillian, Shai, McClease should be able to carry the load. Add Rogers at FB and we're fine.

What is the word on DJ Reid?

When was the last time an ACC tournament semifinalist didn't make the dance? That'd be an interesting trivia question. Time for research.

Edit: Actually didn't take that long, it was Maryland in 12-13, and before that it was your Virginia Tech Hokies in 10-11. Sad face.
