Ah yes the rage quit good ole trump card. Ganon was good to use once you got used to his slowness.

Robinson is really standing out in my eyes. I love his ability to shoot pull-up mid range jumpers. Also I love that he swatted someone off of the backboard. That was beautiful. Also I feel like Donlon deserves a mention in this article. That baseline j was pure.

True that.

One milestone along our journey to relevancy Is the ability to "bounce back" after a good outing. We seem to suffer greatly from win hangovers, and this game was like that. Fortunately BC fought valiently to keep us from blemishing their record.

I view the upcoming game against WF as a turning point. It will take a big game to beat Wake at home, they have played everybody tough. If we can summon our "A" game we will have contained the hangover to single outing, which is an improvement.

Watching the team on the "road to relevant" is priceless.

I like that quote.

Edit to expound on that thought for a sec.

I know this is a basketball thread but I wanna toss a little bit of credit Loeffler's way. Justin Fuente just may be the answer we need on offense and our offense might actually look pretty good in short time with him. But it has to be recognized that Loeffler hit that rock 75-90 times leaving Fuente with a much less daunting job of making our offense productive again.

Just when I was ready to give up on this season, Buzzketball is reeling me back in. Well done boys!

This is what led me to my thought above. We basically didn't see Daryl for more than a few minutes in the first half of the season, coupled with his new show, and it made me think that they were setting us up for him being killed off.

My friend loved marth, which was always a challenge but pretty evenly split. my other friend was jigglypuff and he was really, really, really good at using him. he would destroy me regularly, which resulted in many rage quits

It is not confirmed where VT would end up playing. If we are seeded 8/9 then we will play in the noon session, and if we are seeded 7/10 then we will play in the evening session.

Currently, we are 10th in ACC standings. However, since Louisville has disqualified itself from postseason this year, we are at 9th seed in ACC tournament. ACC is as close in the middle as it is on the top, so depending on how the rest of the ACC does for remainder of two weeks, we can be seeded anywhere from 7th to 11th.

Yeah their resume is better than techs and I remember seeing a stat that they are the only team to Beat Iowa and Ok St on the road in the same year which is impressive given their long pedigree of great programs. I honestly think they will probably show very well and win the ACC tourney and place higher than us in the NCAAs as they have 4 really good wrestlers. I think if we have a very good showing unlike last year we could really be a top 5 finish, but we have to do better on the Friday morning unlike last year where we were winless IIRC and place some people in the finals as that's were the real points come in. Still think Dance has the best chance overall as I don't see Waltz solving the 2 time champ.

Sloppy

100% agree. Yet another example of how the Hokies are quite adept at mirroring the level of their opponents. I love the win, though, don't get me wrong.

we slowed up the last ten minutes

It didn't help things that the refs couldn't tell a charge from a moving blocking foul from the big silvery turds sitting atop their heads. (Note how I am picking on just the two white-haired referees...the fact that they are still gainfully employed by anything higher than community league basketball just completely boggles my mind)

I really hope Buzz doesn't let the team get any high from this win. There is plenty in the game that they need to work and improve on. That being said, a good win on the road for the men in maroon. Still very much excited for Hokie basketball!
