I'm glad you did bring this thread back up simply to gaze into the past when we talked about Drew Harris without sarcasm.
Cant wait to see who emerges as our top tailback next year; will it be Edmunds? Coleman? Harris? We show alot of promise
Glenn should read the comic and use that info to decrease his danger level a little.
When I first heard of his intentions to transfer, I thought that there was no chance of Fuente being interested. But then Edmunds transferred and we still really don't know how healthy Williams and Shai are. I still doubt he ends up a Hokie, but I wouldn't be surprised if Fuente gave him a call at least now. I know his college career hasn't been as good as expected, but we still need a legit number 2 back behind McMillian, and as of now we might not have that (assuming that Shai and Williams aren't healthy enough yet and that McClease is still developing.)
Chris Clarke's injuries scare me. It always seems like it takes longer than expected for those foot injuries to heal, and now it's compounded with an ankle injury that Buzz seems wary of. I would completely understand if Buzz (and staff) shut him down for the year. I don't really see a reason to risk worse injury to make a run at the NIT. Get him healthy and ready to go for next season.
My invoice arrived. Here's where I'll be for the battle (6 together) - Allison N Row 31 Seats 11 - 16.
For those trying to determine if Hokie Club priority points helped, I'm a Golden Hokie.
Now I just need to convince the Mrs that taking the week off and camping is the best option.

Sorry for bringing up such an old thread, but here is a new detail:

Granted, I'm not really one to talk.
That was a journey.
But I agree with the first part about characters getting stale. We keep cycling through some of the newer characters without any kind of development on other characters. I am about 50/50 on wanting Rick to die. I think his character is okay at best but he's a below average actor at best.
Y'all are entirely overthinking this wall thing though haha.
Thanks for the info! I called them this morning and they said it had sent, but I never got it.
They resent the email and gave me the info to pay for it on their website. They were really nice too.
Blood-in, Blood-out. Before he can be official he has to fight Sam Rogers, then Bud Foster, then the Viking Overlord know as "Hilgart the Bald."
I am number 3. I'm currently the Greg Stroman of TKPlayersClub
Makes sense, we're both from Manassas
Yes, you have to go to Paypal and cancel the monthly payment.
I had a little trouble figuring out how to cancel it but if you also are having trouble, use the following steps:
1. Log into Paypal
2. Expand the details of one of the Key Play payments, in your "Completed" section, on the home page
3. There should be a section called "Manage Orange and Maroon Media, LLC payments". Click this link
4. It'll bring up the recurring payments details and there's a cancel selection in the top section.
Hope this helps.
Personally, I am hoping that we overflow that unsigned int. Joe will be all:

My invoice from BMS arrived yesterday, a couple of days after the notification from HokieSports. You may want to check your spam folder just in case.
Yeah, the storyline has been dangling Glenn's fate in front of us for a while now. The ending of the last episode showed that, too. It was like, "oh no, not again!" And then Abraham came in and did Abraham things (I love his character). So it seems like they're using Glenn solely as a point of drama/tension in the story line. I think it's a ruse to fool people "in the know" (i.e., read the comics).
I think the Glenn cliffhanger was used to gauge fan reaction.... I seriously can see them building another character in that timeframe to be a substitute
I am waiting to be number 1000. Get off your butts, people!
Exactly! This is about "the biggest college football game in history" and the media associated with having a football game at a raceway. It's not about Virginia Tech versus Tennessee. That's why they are doing a 2.0 a week later with Western Carolina and ETSU. I wouldn't be surprised if they offered a discounted ticket for attendees of our game to go to that game since it won't come anywhere near to the attendance due to the appeal of the teams and it being a rehash of a bigger game the week before.
YES - Finally made the top 25 on this site for something (pure luck strikes again)

I actually could see the show going a different direction. I've been telling my wife for weeks that I think they've been planning to write out one of the other characters, and he may take Glenn's place in that unfortunate scenario. Can't have things be too known/predictable.
I look at it this way: BMS wants a spectacle. The fact that it's a college football game is almost a backdrop. It's like having a house party and having a live band. You don't put the band's followers first on the guest list, you invite your friends and then let the people with the band tag along. BMS wants to make money. This isn't your typical college football game and BMS isn't looking at this through the lens of "help students and fans of the teams first."
Poor Glenn.
I won't post any spoilers, but if the show proceeds anything like the comics (and the producers have said it will), things are about to get real, and fast. Jesus isn't the one we should be worrying about...
