So what would you call the success he has found at Penske, anything that doesn't include the terms "revitalized, golden age, prime, better, or success or similar" is probably a sadly homersitic, underwhelming, and all around poor analysis.
It does seem a bit odd, as if the Pearson section was rated higher than the Allison Terrace, even though the Allison Terrace seems like it might actually be closer to most of the football field.
I haven't been there, so I don't know what the real deal is.
You can complain all you want, but unless Denny uses the 500 to jump start his year he is in real danger of entering the downslide of his career, becoming the same as Biffle or Kahne, guys carried by stronger Teammates happy to win 1 or even 2 races a year if lucky.

Oh you can't even get up to the lakes here when they are closed. They have them gated off. It's ridiculous.
Understandable but I believe that Paypal also takes a small percentage of the amount and I'm assuming it's easier plan your fiscal year with once a year lump sums, as opposed to recurring payments. Kinda why some sites have different deals for subscription like $10/month or $84/year. The full year payment is always cheaper than monthly subscriptions.

Every time I read something like this, I visualize an actual barrel filled with pork, and it makes me nauseated and hungry at the same time.
Lake Manassas(hole) in Gainesville Virginia has been "closed" for several years. Kayaks, boats and swimming in the lake are pretty much forbidden. So is fishing from shore, but I still do it anyways. Oh but the lawdogs can still ride around in their boats patrolling it. Such BS
I do tend to believe that 2 years is just a touch too quick to skip out. Especially with what we could be returning next year, he does express a level of commitment to the team that would be tough to break so quickly. But if Wisky or Okie St offer him $4m, in two locations that he could call "home," it may be time to rent the uhaul.
If its not this year, it won't be long, We will go through this every year until he does find an offer he can't refuse. Sure, VT is in the ACC, but there are probably 40+ jobs that he should take if offered. The over/under on Buzz's tenure at VT is probably 4.5 years.
When he's gone, VT basketball will be in a much better place and Whit will be able to make a hire that extends that momentum. And we will tip our hat to our eccentric bald friend and wish him luck. The risk he took to come to VT was extraordinary.

Correct. It's nearly impossible to not hear the offer that Wisconsin (and others) would put on the table. It's going to be a big number. Let's just hope his heart is with the good guys.
Try coming out here to SOCAL where they think that they can "Close" a lake. I couldn't believe the first time someone told me that there were hours that a lake was open.

I agree with your last point. Buzz could leave today for another job and I would still appreciate the hell out of what he did here. Hopefully that won't happen for a few more years, but things like that happen all the time in college basketball. Honestly, I'd love to see Buzz go to the NBA one day, after winning at least four national titles here at VT first. Maybe five.
