Looks like there is a meeting of SCBG tomorrow. I am trying to find out the details. Would like to talk to the guy who has the grainfather.

So I went to my first Brew club meeting in Cincinnati and just absolutely got (indirectly) put in my place. I thought I knew things about beer, but these guys were in another level. Made me realize that I have a whole lot to learn. They did convince me to enter my beer in competitions to get the detailed feedback and it really took my nerves away about sharing my less than perfect brews. I can't wait to bring some to the next meeting and find out what I can improve. I would encourage anyone who enjoys the hobby to seek out your local club, at worst you get to try a bunch of beer each month.

So poor use of words on my part. Fear of the unknown as it relates to the decision to go into a dark, unfamiliar, space is one thing. Fear of the unknown as it relates to potential "news" about your basketball program being bad news is entirely different.

I agree that fear of the unknown is preprogrammed into our species.

I am only taking issue with the fact a whole lot of people are just assuming the worst when someone says there is something interesting going on but doesn't provide any specific info to back up the statement.

You may want to edit your first post before you get negative legged to the point you can no longer post

I think snaps only stay posted to your story for 24hrs. So if there's nothing posted they haven't added anything in the last 24.

Couldn't help but notice the new mobile functionality (scrolling to next new comment and next green comment) and the first member of the key players club. Looks like you've been busy, Joe. Both look awesome.

How long do the videos stay in snapchat? I just added vtfootball today and there are no videos under the story board

Definitely try and get out to the Louisville game. Fianc is an alum and former athlete there...city is absolutely amazing. We're actually getting married out there in December.

I really couldn't care less that this guy is from WVU. We haven't played since 2005, and he began coaching there in 2013, so he has no ties to the rivalry whatsoever. In a conference dominated by aerial attacks, he has managed to field a solid secondary the last 2 seasons, and had one of the best in the country in 2015. Had Karl Joseph not torn ACL, they might have been the best. This was a good hire, and we should look past the fact that he coached in Morgantown for 3 seasons prior.

I'm saying it's unfortunate that we're at a point in our society where people fear the unknown.

I'm going way, WAY OT here, but fearing the unknown isn't something that we've gotten to the point of. We, and almost all species, are biologically programmed to fear the unknown, because fearing the unknown gives a species an evolutionary advantage. Our cave-dwelling ancestors were more likely to survive and produce offspring if they treated anything they didn't understand as a threat. I'd argue we are just now barely getting to the point where we are starting to evolve beyond fearing the unknown.

Yes to both the stickers and koozies... Probably the most important aspect of this is to make sure the cost per item is as inexpensive as possible to make sure the goods act as a boon rather than a burden to Joe and the financing of the site.

Koozies and stickers are probably the most cost-effective and useful things I could think of for a swag pack, while still returning a decent ROI for Joe and the site. Hats seem like a popular idea too, but maybe should be a separately-ordered item marked up for profit?

Also, I love the circular, seal-like logo... I'd use it on all the goods!
