Baylor is not in the #SEC. They were penalized more for that fact alone than their weak non-con schedule. It really doesn't matter who Florida plays. They could play 3 FCS teams and beat up on a 5-7 FSU team and still be in the playoff hunt with 1 loss and a conference title.
Well if Mel Kiper Jr predicts it, you know it won't happen.
AnOSU will have some struggles this year. They lost over 14 players who started a game this year.
Don't be alarmed that Alabama & Ohio State are 98 & 128 respectfully with returnees. TIC.
They just eject the empty magazine and pop in a fresh one.
But Florida's non-conference slate this year (excluding at FSU) is UMass, North Texas, and Presbyterian.

Ha, I had to look back at it again before I remembered that. It looked like he was dragging his feet inbounds seven yards in front of the receiver.
I don't mean this as hyperbole and I know it's said almost weekly, but every week my pride and confidence in the entire university grows. From Dr. Sands and the academic side to a Whit and athletics, there's just a solid feeling that we have tremendous people in numerous positions ready to make VT and even better place. This new feeling was long overdue.

Wiles is the only coach on our Defensive staff with no Defensive Coordinator experience, but I am willing to bet he'd be a good one. I see no reason why our defense can't make major improvements. The coaches, the conditioning, the talent returning. I wish it was football season now!
