Its possible, but we have been the leader for a while so even if he takes a step back I think we are in great shape. Its not like the coach was shocked that he picked us out of nowhere, only that he committed so early.
Yeah, i'm happy with our decision and Memphis was beating up on Houston for a while until they lost by 1 last year, anyways we just got a 4 star recruit I know you already know and our class on 247 just went from 48 to 31 so far haha so have a leg!

Apparently his high school coach was "shocked" about Garbutt's commitment and said he might have gotten "caught up in the moment." Uh oh

Based on what though? His Twitter banner is Maryland. I'm glad he wants to stay in state but I can't find anything that says he has always been high on Tech. Did he do an interview or something?

Sorry I was looking so fast I missed that. I think that's some hot air though. He had an offer on the table from Houston before VT started looking.
Since his visits in the fall VT has been the leader and has always spoke very highly of VT.

Its always good to get guys early, especially higher profile ones. The schools that recruit the best always pick up guys early even if they don't hang on to all of them.
