He is teammates with Belmar so I wouldn't be surprised if he has an offer, but not publicly. I'm hearing from #sources that Fox, Durr, and Bailey will all likely sign with the Hokies on Wednesday.

FWIW, Bailey has been CB'd to us by three different people this afternoon.
Also, Tomon Fox doesn't even have an offer from us per any recruiting site I can find. I'm new to following the recruiting cycle and I'm not sure if this is weird or normal for this close to Signing Day. He doesn't have an offer but he took an official on the last weekend. Hopefully someone can explain this to me.

Bylaw 13.4.3.5 "member institutions and their representatives of athletic interests are prohibited from financing, arranging or using recruiting aids (e.g., newspaper advertisements, bumper stickers, message buttons) designed to publicize the institution's interest in a particular prospective student-athlete."
This is based on morals of the NCAA establishment and the University's on what is the "right conduct" for recruiting. Thus, it would be "immoral to drive an equipment truck to a recruits house" in the NCAA realm.
Yeah, let's hope Whit isn't going to bring such horrendous uni combinations to VT. Maryland can have that title of the 'Oregon of the East' with those absolutely putrid unis they've been donning the last few years. Not saying we have to be Penn State traditional, but keeping our unis stylish, but still on the old school side would be nice.

The knock on the scheme for recruiting isn't based on college production. Its about being able to sell the next level. Both of those guys were out of the league in 3 years.

From left to right in that photo it's Tomon Fox (UNC commit), Emmanuel Belmar (Fox's teammate at Collins Hill HS), Fuente, Coney Durr, and JaQuan Bailey. If Fuente managed to flip Fox it would be very impressive. Also, Fuente taking these kids to the airport — that's full service recruiting.

9-12 aren't even in the top 50 players in VA. Looking at the 12, they committed to Duke, NC State, UVA, Vanderbilt (x2), Wake (x2), Nevada, and JMU (x2).
The top 5 are players that I think could really contribute here or elsewhere.

That game was an absolute joke, from the WTF fake punt to the catch that wasn't by Coale. We totally outplayed Michigan, and deserved to win, even considering the coaching snafus by Beamer & Co., and our kicking issues. They ought to call that bowl game the 'Let's Give Brady Another Year' Bowl.
