It's always amusing to see a kid sitting at around a low 3 star grade with tons of offers from big schools. With offers from the likes of Clemson, anOSU, Miami, UGA, Tennessee, Pitt, etc he's obviously got a little more to offer than his ranking implies. Our DT's are going to be fun to watch here for the foreseeable future.

No O&M glasses here - how is he only a 3-star? He's got that twitch off the line that we like AND he's incredibly fast for a 290 lber! Is it his size that keeps him from being considered elite?

A 2nd VT student.

thanks guys.....much appreciated

His sister was part of a team that won like 76 straight games in high school. They were like the uconn of Virginia state basketball it was insane

Very sad news....our thoughts are with her family......

Done - they said Hi and hope things are well with you....hope we can meet up again at another future tailgate!

Umm, NerdMagic, sir, if I have ever oh so inadvertently disagreed with, made fun of, or in any way seemed to have disrespected you in any post here on TKP, please believe me, it was absolutely unintended. I promise.

You're entering a cyclical argument. Breaking the rules is cheating. Morals and norms form the rules. Enforcement is used to ensure the rules are not broken. Thus, morals and enforcement are strongly related to the definition of cheating.

Yeah he was mentioned on a few qb hits, but he did totally whiff on that sack that Oakman cleaned up. He went way too high on the qb. I think he is really going to have to make a shift to a 3-4 to have a chance to stick in the NFL and he still probably needs to put on 20 lbs or so. Really hoping he has a good combine though as i am sure that could help him out.

Unreal motor. Great first step. Plays with a healthy dose of mean.

Seems like he was allowed to freelance a bit - a lot of his tape is him blowing up plays by shooting gaps. He'll need to learn to hold blocks. And I'm with Nerd - he must have about 9% body fat if he is 290. And 6'2" seems generous unless Bud is experiencing a late growth spurt...

But this is a great get. If he's as hard a worker as he looks, he'll be right at home

Nope we do not. Being a former equipment manager we rented moving trucks for away games. For the bowl games we ordered a mayflower. When we showed up bowl games we would be put to shame by power houses that had a sick 18 wheeler decked in their teams logo/gear and had a roof that helped light go into cargo area so you can see at night. We all enveyed these trucks.

Very excited to have this kid on board. His film is outstanding and his motor never stops. Hope he can stick at DL and be an early contributor. Of not, looks like there is enough depth for a red shirt year.
